You didn’t get a mirror finish because those wheels are coated. You gotta remove the clear coat and the polish. However, you seemed happy with the finish and that’s what matters. Good job.

Hey Chris, you don't to apply this to a clear coat? is it safe to apply directly to aluminium?

It's better to apply this to clear coat from my experience
