NRBQ at Horseman Saloon ~ June 6, 1980 (audio only) ~ Mt. Tremper, NY

My NRBQ clips have been getting a lot of love, so here is one more short one - don't worry NRBQ, this is the last one! I wanted to upload this for two reasons: one is that it shows a side of NRBQ that isn't featured as much in other youtube videos, their jazzy instrumental side. It's a few long jams and the Whole Wheat Horns get to stretch out and enjoy their rightful place in the spotlight. Which leads to the other reason - I recently learned that Donn Adams passed away; he was of course the virtuoso trombone player that had been with the band since the start. I'm very sad that I won't get to see him again, and this clip is dedicated to him. It is also dedicated to the great Keith Spring, and Gary Windo. They made the band even more incredible and paved the way for Dreams, Chicago, Blood, Sweat and Tears, etc.. Hope you dig it as much as I do!
