Tracks are nice but they also have their drawbacks. Nothing is more fun than getting the mud out of them. Maybe you can keep an eye out for a used forestry mulcher for the skid steer. Just mulch the whole tree.
@@d6joe they have addons to them to make them more protected/durable and adds to the cost too. The one my brother leased out from Bobcat several years ago from his job had high HP and extra protection all around, but they did a heck of a job on established willows and shrubs around sloughs for cleanup.
Day 1 of robots working in our sow barn was a complete failure. had to revert back to our regular way of breeding the sows that are in heat. the robots moved almost every sow too the breeding holding pens causing a over flow and pushing down a wall that separates breeds what a mess. new computer coming monday so try 2 next week.

Only problem is they aren't found here in ND so would have to find on some auction site which would have risks.
Aren’t forestry mulchers horribly expensive?

Hello!

what's your gallons per hour usage doing that type of work ?
Wasn't even paying much attention to it... I'd guess around that 1 gal/hr, pretty easy work for it.
