Just bought one of these for our animal rescue military boarding home during deployment, located at 9400ft in elevation in the Rockies. So it has snow tracks and will have a snow thrower mounted 5 months of the year. We shall see, but so far its done pretty well. Thanks for putting this together!
I bought one of these to build my motocross track and do some occasional landscaping. Thanks for making all these videos so I can sit here and drool while I wait for the dealer to call me to come pick it up! :D
Congrats on the T66. I've had mine since last year and its great. You will be amazed at the things you can do with it. All new machines seem to have an occasional quirk though, but the Bobcat dealer is always on top of it.
Thanks! Yeah, the bobcat dealer has been great for any issues, even minor, that have come up. which luckily have been next to none other than getting service parts.
Christmas in August! Congratulations. Figured you’d end up with a tracked loader, but not so soon. Now you’ll need a trailer long enough to haul them both together. One thing begets another.
Same! It went from more of a joking about it, to oh, we could actually afford it based on the side business success and it makes sense for the upcoming projects. Yeah, in order to tow them both, we need not only a longer trailer, but a dump truck too! Just have to keep upgrading!
Very nice acquisition. I don't think that even some of the big names out there have the auto-coupler on their skidsteers, seems super sweet. Do you think that's something you'll try to add on to the excavator in the future?
Unfortunately the E26 doesnt have the option of a powered exchange coupler, you have to go one size bigger for that... so probably just a bigger machine in the future!
Really nice videos! I started my own side business this year with a 1025r and planing on upgrading with a dump trailer and truck next year. Ultimately I would like an excavator and skid steer like you. My question is what is your towing setup? I am looking at 3/4 tons with GVWR of 10,000 lbs and I am wondering if that’s enough for a skid steer your size?
Awesome, a dump trailer really adds a whole bunch of functionality. I currently have a Gas GMC 2500, and its towing payload rating is about 14k. It is basically just enough for the skid steer and some attachments. Really need diesel for any bigger equipment, but then that gets into needing a CDL.
@@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC thanks for the quick answer. I do feel that the dump trailer is the next step yeah. Do you tow your E26 and the skid steer using the dump trailer too?
Yea, I will tow those machines in that trailer if works for the job. The 1025r should fit nicely in a 14' with the backhoe turned, like I do with my BX23s.
@@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC I’m in MA and the dealer has a T66 available. The machine is about $65k, but then the comfort package and performance package put it at $81k. The packages include back up camera, 7 in screen, high flow, HVAC, Ect. Did you get these options for the $65k?
@@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC Thank you. They claim it’s “Middle of the road”, but $80k seems pretty steep. I want the machine, but want to make sure I’m not paying $15k more bc of COVID.
@@michaelpungitore7292 Yeah, it is pretty brutal right now. My dealer told me all their prices went up this year, so I imagine it is due in part to that at a baseline anyways.
Thanks! Yeah when I asked back in April, it was around 2-3 months wait time. We got lucky in that this machine was just at the end of that wait and ready to ship over!
@@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC NICE 🤘🏻 I have operated several different brand machines over the years. And i still stand to Bobcat making the most sense from an owners standpoint. Dealers are great, and overall quality is on point. Great decision, maybe ill upload when we take delivery of our e60. Still waiting, could be 3-6 months. Oh well, what can you do? They gave me a hell of a deal renting the e55 again because of the delay. Basically renting it for 1/3 the cost. So thats good.
Yeah, unfortunately almost all skid steers have the swinging door aside from Kubota and Takeuchi. It is something I can overlook considering how impressive the rest of the machine is for our work.
@@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC I wanted to buy one but just couldn't get past that door. I guess it depends on the type of work you're doing that determines whether or not it's an issue. I do love Bobcat machines and if I get another excavator it'll be another Bobcat.
If you watch any of my other videos of my property, its all ledge! you can even see me drive over ledge near the end going up the bank. Can't dig much more than a foot in my yard unfortunately.
You will never touch one with foot controls again after driving this… had a guy let me borrow his foot control model. It was awful. These are so much less work on your legs

You’ll never regret this purchase!
I’ve got a s550 and the mt100 and a e10 I’ve never looked back!!!! Enjoy, your world just opened up immensely
Those are some nice machines! I am very excited as to all of the jobs I have opened up for myself. Thanks!

T66 is a beast I’ve been very impressed
Love the skid steer usage and dirt work! Thanks for sharing!
son of a biscuit he actually got it

Can u sent mi the price.l wish to get one.
Nice machine! I’d love to have this model.
Thanks! I like your current setup, im just missing the dump truck now!
how are your decals holding up? I hear the decals peel easily. I think there should be a recall on the stickers.

Good job in allowing the sound of the machine in your videos. Too many people rely on background music too much which can be annoying.
Did ya unplug the backup alarm at the harness or did you find a way to shut it off through the touchscreen?
Haha I immediately unplugged it at the harness. Didnt check if there was a menu option for it.

How is this machine on your lawn? About how much was this machine? Good video any help is appreciated
Like any tracked machine, it will leave marks in the lawn if driven straight or tear it up if turning. The cost was ~$65k.

Ours is std flow and basic comfort package (heat/ac/5in reg screen but it also has backup camera). Not the top deluxe with touch screen stuff.

How big of a trailer is that? Congrats!
Its a 20' total length trailer (17' deck + 3' ramps when folded up). Thanks!
How much did it cost?
Congrats 🥳 guys!!!! Shes a beaut!! I wonder, how long did it take to get in? Im on about a 3-4 month waitlist from bobcat.

Oh for sure. Their machines and features are great. They have been by far the best dealer Ive ever dealt with. Do you deal with Bobcat of NH as well?
@@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC no were out of Pittsburgh PA. So is Bobcat of Pittsburgh. Basically they handle the entire western half of PA
Ah ok. Glad to hear they are a good dealer as well!
How’s the t66 holding up? I am thinking about purchasing one but I heard about electrical issues with the r series. I debating this one and a t770.
I have yet to have any electrical issues and I have around 500 hours on it now. No major issues thus far and hopefully none to come!

Beutiful ❤
Bobcat are great machines but i think there way over price compared to machines like Caterpillar,John Deere,Kubota, and so on
Only reason I didn't buy a Bobcat was that stupid swinging door. That makes no sense at all to me. They do make a nice machine though.

God these videos are hell what's the host bro?
Bigger backhoe? Maybe. But you know your business
I'm not sure where you are in southern NH but dig a pit and burn the brush save your money and avoid the stump dump

Watch in 2× speed
....Here i had suggested buying a bigger Kubota and you just go hog and buy a new bobcat xD
Go big or go home!
You need a grapple
Joystick control what a shame I'm out. was going to buy one but that's a deal breaker.
You can get them with foot controls as well, they have both packages.
