How James Cameron instantly makes the T1000 the 2nd most hated character in the movie...
Its an interesting scene in that it's singular purpose is to make the audience glad that Sarah delivers a brutal beatdown to hospital workers during her escape.
I have a feeling that they filled Sarah's escape and people were like, "Ah, she really beat the shit out of that orderly who was just doing his job." So James Cameron was like, "I can make you hate him."
Then, while everyone is trying to sleep, he walks down the hall banging his nightstick on the wall.
He was a total asshat
typical psychological torture you see in most prisons in the US Empire and other decaying places like it.
The biggest cheer went up in the theatre when this guy got beat.
When I watch that, all I can do is wonder how many takes did James Cameron make Linda Hamilton go through.
Not nearly as many as Kubrick would've done.
Could you imagine what it was like for the actors to act this scene!? Ewww
I can't wrap my head around the fact that many people have never seen T2. I can't remember the first time I saw it, but I don't think I ever thought that dude was a Terminator

I've watched a bunch of reviews of this movie. I always think it's worse than the women watching.🤷♂ Also, someone explained it to me. He was checking to see if she was sedated.
Yeah but he's getting a real kick out doing something which probably isn't standard procedure for checking if someone is sedated.

Back when this movie came out, there were probably 3 things he could have done to Sarah that would have creeped ppl out. Today...how many hundreds of minor things would creep ppl out? 🤦

Might seem creepy, but it really isn't. The orderly was testing if Sarah was faking being catatonic. It is nearly impossible not to flinch. Sadly, that must have taken quite a few takes.
It's creepy. I'm sure any section in any rulebook about patients faking a catatonic state, the solution wouldn't read "Lick patients face". As seen by this clip nearly impossible isn't impossible. It's his creepazoid way of doing this, but he obviously gets a kick out of violating Sarah like that.
