      @@hughfuve analyse your games. Play chess puzzle daily. Play more and try to blunder less. memorise basic lines for both openings. Should get you to at least 1600 in my experience or higher in Alex Banzea's experience

      I’m about 2000 USCF and 1900 FIDE and went from 1500-1900 within a year. I credit this opening for getting me past 1700. I’ve studied the lines pretty deep and the resulting middlegames and endgames suit my style

    Alex, I think you would make everyone who buys the course VERY happy indeed if you include those 1000 games in your final chapter. Model games are the most important part of opening prep for beginners IMHO, and having a high volume of examples with middlegame plans would take it form a 5/5 to 11/5! Upvote if you agree!

      I suggest d5/Nf3/c5 vs London and Albin Counter-Gambit if it's a Queen's gambit.
      Mind you, those are not to have a comfortable position or a consistent performance (although "anti-london" has its objective merits). It's just to be a noxious mf against everyone.

    Alex u are best! Between you and Danya’s teaching I am a few games from 1000 rating! I just learned how to play in June. I bought your jobava course and plan to buy caro when I finish the jobava one. Also I think you should make a kings indian course I’ve been absolutely slaying with KI it is by far my favorite opening since binging your speed run. Some Catalan videos would be really cool also? I’m super interested in learning the Catalan. Thanks for everything u do !!

      I'm currently working on the 'Jobava course'. I am guessing that you purchased the 'normal London course' by mistake which is a different thing. According to chessable you can get a refund in the first 30 days! Don't be shy to claim it, sorry for the confusion.

    Bruh, Im dumb af have no memory etc and have been stuck at about 800-900 elo for last 3 years. Ive been watching Hikaru, Gotham etc but yet, too dumb too comprehend, started watching you and playing jobava, caro and indian and got to 1400 in no time, you are definitely the best teachers, at least for dumbasses like me

    These videos are very helpful in seeing the basic plans. However, could you also do a video outlining the basic theory? This would save a lot of time for everyone compared to trying to scrape of lines by skipping to the start of every single game.

    Beautiful endgame. Your knight held blacks position hostage, while the bishop was completely useless . With the boa constrictor, I get similar attacks on the kingside as I got with the Stonewall setup, except its much better via Jobava since dark square bishops get traded off and you still have pawn on f4, knight on e5 and light square bishop aiming at the king while blacks bishop is useless and stuck behind the pawn chain.

    At 16:27 why is Be3 necessary before Nf3? When I learned the regular London I was taught that once black plays e6 (keeping the light square bishop in the pawn chain) you should play Nf3 because your knight can no longer be pinned to your queen and to quickly clamp down on e5. Great vid as always! You're up there with Daniel Narodistky in the quality of your videos

    22:25 actually after e5 if you would try to sneak the rh1 move he had e4 leading to exual position threatening that if you will take with the f3 u lose the knight and after that if u tried to take the exd5 threatening again qxh7+ he could just simply play h5 and now the bishop from being ultra useless becomes huuuge. Im soo proud I found that immediately while being only 1050/1100 elo on chesscom 😄. Btw love your videos bro :D

      e4 is good only if black delays Nf6. I will be recommending that (and also show it on the channel in the future)

    Can you do a Caro kann where they go c4 after you play d5 and explain a good attack against it please. I get that variation a lot and it kind of throws me off ❤

      What I get sometimes is kf3 followed by something innocuous like e3 and then c4 for the white pieces

    I've been using your Jobava London videos as part of my experiment to become a d4 player (usually e4 only). Seems like a very fun and strong opening! Maybe soon I will have the courage to play it in rated games but I need to work out some lines against the Kings Indian too which I know is different to play as white compared to the Pirc.
