I made this for dinner tonight and it was so good! Thank you so much! Fuss free and delicious! Definitely making it frequently!! I made it using my tefal pressure multi cooker. Made some adjustments. - instead of canned mushrooms, I used a few fresh sliced shiitake mushrooms and a few sliced rehydrated dried shiitake mushrooms (soaked overnight) - I omitted chicken powder/stock and followed one of the commenters suggestion of using the water used to soak the dried shiitake mushrooms to replace the water in the recipe - I stir fried 1 sliced lup cheong together with the chicken meat

Tried making this last night in my rice cooker. Turned out yummy. I didn't add the canned mushrooms but abt 5 min before it's cooked, i put sliced "lup cheong" on top and the combined taste was great! Thanks for sharing.
I did the initial frying in a separate pan and after the rice is mixed in, i transfered the whole lot into my rice cooker and cooked it fully in. Cos my rice cooker inner pot is not meant for stove usage.
