Great summary, I’m about halfway done with mine now and I can’t wait to install the San Diego Powerhouse Stage 1 Kit I ordered. She is pretty dialed in for the trails right now but after the power upgrade it will feel like a real 450 single track killer 🤙

I’m gonna keep the stock gearing so it keeps the front down for now but it may need a change in the future after I add the power. I can always upgrade and add the custom cam that San Diego Powerhouse makes that’s modeled after the RX cam and it bumps it up to 58rwhp 🔥I don’t think I’ll need that but nice to have the option 👌

wow, what a cool synchronicity with the lightning bolt! I agree with a lot of the comments. There's either hooligans doing hooligan things or adventure riders that want to nit-pick and review (that is hyperbolic and generalized but you know what i mean). Finally took my 450L on dirt. Sand actually. Wow, I am impressed!!! So much more torque than I thought it was going to have. Granted, I did a Yoshi exhaust and Vortex CPU. It is NOT stock. Even at slow speeds in 2nd and sometimes 3rd, I ne ee felt like I was in danger of stalling it. Just a quick flick of the throttle and I was moving as fast as I wanted to go, up whatever the trail laid before me. I'm a believer now. I spent some money on this new bike, and wasn't sure I was going to like it more than the older KTM 625 SXC it replaced. Oh baby! This is my bike for as long as I want to keep playing in the dirt.

I am always confused with people hating on this bike it’s the only real dual sport on the market the KTM a full on enduro with plates no good on the road what so ever only holds 600ML of oil won’t last 5000 km without a new engine I can go on and on about those KTMs but the Honda is different yes it’s for heavier but you will get 35000 km out of the engine it’s a stronger frame it has the best oil changes in the dual sport market and it’s just as good as the KTM off-road so I don’t see why is bike isn’t as popular as the KTM if you go into it 🤷‍♂️

I have heard the Hinson cover gives you an extra 1-200ml of oil which would give a nice buffer for when you have to push the change out slightly. Oh, one more thing (I won't spoil your next new mod), but I have a friend who is installing a 'you know what' and he has a set of graphics for it.
