hi faeb, your shader needs a fix. the problem with it is that the volume has parts which look black - must have to to something with the density. simply but the color ramp outbut to the density input and you get a nice clean looking flame. thx for the tutorial anyway
Thanks for the grate tutorial but there is a problem. I don't know if you notice that the flame disappears if you try to render the animation with transparent background. It seems that the alpha channels doesn't render. Do you have a solution for that? Thanks in advance.
Hmm in that case I would render it with a black background and in the editing program later change the mode to "add" or "screen" which removes the background. Hope that helps
