Knock about $75k-$90k off the price and then we can talk about it. At $175k there are far more attractive options available.
It will retail for 100-110 I’d imagine.
If u look at used ones around 5 years old, you can get a nice one around 50-60k.
This model has been out for several years, not much European about it.

I love the layout, the powertrain, and the fact that you can easily utilize the entire RV without putting the slide out. I understand that this is an entry level vehicle, and as such it has lower end materials and features. With that in mind, I wish that Thor would offer an upgraded, more premium version of the Axis 24.1 with all the bells and whistles, because I think they would find buyers for it. And maybe do it on the F-550 chassis for even greater cargo carrying capacity, because that engine is used in much larger RV's and is more than capable for a vehicle of this size.

For clarification, that is not the Ford F-53 Chassis from most Class A’s. It is actually an E-450 chassis like most Class C’s use. They take delivery and actually remove the van cab.

Agreed. That's exactly what ford calls it, E450 Stripped Chassis. The high seating and non-Ford dash along with the small doghouse is the giveaway it is based on a stripped chassis.
Interesting bathroom as the expansion gives you room to dry off from your shower. What exactly is a thermal foil countertop? Is it a type of hard plastic that won’t scorch of you put a hot pan on?
The Axis isn't "All New" it's been in production several years.

Don't forget Ford's awesome 5 year 60k mile "we'll blame your for misuse so we don't have to cover it" powertrain warranty.
Bought a new engine for my Ram pickup truck. Had 187,000 miles. The new engine made it 22,000. After 2 months I was given back my truck with a rebuilt engine that gives me problems.
Why did they have to make that particular unit so cute?
Way too expensive. I like it but not that price. Non starter.
They actually sell for about $129,000 street price.

Thanks for the review. It's way over-priced. European units generally don't ride on dual rear wheels which is an indication of the weight load of this vehicle.
Thor is bit low quality, but I do like the Vegas / axis line layout . They're not new have been out for many years
you can buy a F450 and a medium 5th wheel for that price... I just cant understand how the industry can demand so much these days...I paid 50k for a slightly used Ram 3500 and a 40ft momentum for 130k 3 years ago...

I'm sure it is just "perfect" for a few people. As others have commented, to expensive compared to other units available. Just my opinion. The expense can not justify what looks like mediocre quality.
The RV is ok but the price way over what it is. Hundred thousand would be more than enough to pay for something like this

MSRP (and discounted price) creep on these have outpaced inflation. No longer a bargain like they used to be
I feel sorry for anyone who buys a THOR- terrible quality, terrible service after the sale- they just dont care. I spent two years of hell with an THOR RV that the entire electrical system wouldn't work. Thor ran out the warranty and told me to get lost. I hired an independent tech who found the problem- THOR forgot to flip on the power switch to the inverter!
Besides this there were dozens of other problems, like for example somebody at the factory put the water fill/city water stickers on backwards and I couldn't figure out why the water tank wouldn't fill.
This rv been around since 2015.. it’s use sit on a ford E-350 chassis they upgraded it to E-450 chassis.. I’m sorry rv isn’t European inspired.

The Axis (and its counterpart the Vegas) have been around for a minute, never once have i ever thought they were even vaguely "European style". At this point if its funky shaped, or has a funky interior, its "European style". So sick of it.
Class A body but on class C chassis. Heard they are scary to drive. Tiny wheels, white knuckles driving. Super unstable.

Hearsay gets you nowhere, dude. Unless you have one, you shouldn't be giving your opinion, on something you don't own, or have never driven.
They drive just fine. You can upgrade any vehicle's front end, to make driving better, as you can with this model. But out the box, these are fine. I've never had the white knuckle moments, you profess, too. The tires are the same as on E350 and E450 chassis's, and not an issue. And your comments are not appreciated since you're going on hearsay, and haven't driven one yourself.

At least she drove the Vegas. You didn't. Further, we don't know whether an alignment was needed, the ballpark mileage, age, etc. Maybe she's not confident behind the wheel, we don't know.
