Loved my 2022 Spectral CF8. Such a awesome all around bike. If I only had room for one bike, I would not be sad if it was it. I recently swapped out my XT brakes on my Yeti 160e for some Hayes A4's. Took a couple rides to bed them in all the way, but they are awesome so far. Excellent modulation and more power than Codes/XT with less lever effort, which is exactly what I was looking for to deal with that extra weight on a ebike.
I've had a lot going on recently, so I've only been able to ride them once, but at least with the preliminary ride they are crazy awesome. Even the power seems way stronger than both the XTs and the Codes. Im excited to start becoming more comfortable with them
Hi there! Man oh man, I’m so thankful I found your review!! There aren’t too many on this particular model and color. I was a bit shocked. Thanks for sharing! I’m about a week away from pulling the trigger on this one (US version / XT di). But want to be sure I’m doing my homework. Any regrets 3 weeks later? Any major issues? I’m only 5 min into your video but was so happy to see it, I wanted to pause and thank you. Thanks for your insights! EDIT: oh damn, I thought this was ON (electric). 😂
Yeah, absolutely! Figured it'd be fun so why not. I'd overall its been incredible and I love it. So I don't know about the newer spectral/spectral ON, but I'm not the only one who has had issues with the headset, so Im just warning you! Apparently, it's pretty common. But hopefully that helps! I feel like its been awesome
Great review, I’ve heard good things about the Spectral. Curious how you’d like the Sentinel if it were set up based on your preferences. What trail system is that? I don’t recognize it. I have an idea, but not 100%
Thank ya kindly! I've definitely loved the bike, especially once I got it dialed in. I would be too. It was also an extremely wet day that day, which didn't help either. But this is a place I can't fully say, but can tell you its the worst kept secret if that helps
@@PNWMountainBiker Yeah, riding in the wet is always a whole different experience. Appreciate it, it’s probably exactly where I assumed it was. Love the videos, keep em coming!
no bike is perfect, but in my experience, yeti bikes are great. I've had an ARC for almost a year now, only issues i've had were me stripping a screw for the bottle mount and having to replace a crappy dropper post cable.
Well that's good, smaller issues which is great. My headset problem is more annoying than anything else. How do you like that bike? Definitely looks cool
@@PNWMountainBiker best bike i've had by far. I live in much flatter terrain so the geo works really well, cause it pedals almost as good as an xc bike, but when it gets gnarly (relative to Atlanta, Georgia), it can hold its own.
@@whitetiger7084 That's good then. I think the bike looks so good. I wanna say I've seen it once around here in the PNW? But to be fair I see a lot of big bikes

@@PNWMountainBiker the headset problem can apparently be solved by replacing the top dust cover with a Cane Creek or Ritchey ZS49.
@@mangoshake Do you mean their highest end one? I think the dust cover was blue?
