What a great harvest! I’m so jealous of the bell peppers and amount of jalapeños! I think I need to cut off the few jalapeños I have so they can flower for more like you said. The cabbages are so beautiful. I can’t wait to see how you use them. The little sprouts on the sides of the stalks are secondary cabbages. If you let them you will get more cabbages, not as big as the first but just as good. Usually I have to cut a cross in the top of the stem to get them started but yours were ready to go. Maybe next year you can let them grow? 😊 I look forward to seeing your videos all week. I’ve been ill and this really makes me feel better. Thanks Marta!
Thanks! I think I’ll make some sauerkraut and curtido with the cabbages. I saw a recipe for cabbage burgers that looks delicious, but I’m also not sure if I have the energy for that these days 😆. If you plant lemon balm, it comes back every year, it helps keep bugs down. Basil and mint will, too
