Super long edit sorry: Just finished the episode. What I don't understand is the prevention of the population cliff. As a country we've figured out and endured every adversary because we've had to. Life today is unsustainable. Trash, agriculture, industry, climate change, over population. All of these things are because we have too much and just keep wanting more. We need to downsize. There will be a lot of old people to take care of and not enough to sustain what we're doing now. Maybe instead of giving millions of people medicare they can spend that money on the elders or the money they put towards food stamps or schools because there will be less people to care for. If we don't have people to pick up our trash then we work as a community to change that. When it's smaller we can work closer. I don't want the human race to wither away. This man is so intelligent and obviously cares about people. Maybe I just don't understand something much bigger. Because it surprises me that he doesn't agree. In the long run people will be better off. I don't really care about what comments I'll get because every thread has an argument. For some reason people are obsessed with fighting and being condescending.

I never knew Dads could get postpartum depression until we had my daughter. She had horrific colic for the first 5 months and she would cry nonstop from the time she woke up to the time she could pass out and sleep for an hour or so. It was the hardest thing my wife and I went through.

My Mom lost a baby at 3 months from SIDS...she had a bunch after that, but she never really recovered. I was the last born, and saw her pain.
