I was just looking at these motorcycles today in California. What a great review. You got me thinking. I’m really looking forward to a long-term review from your channel, and also the pipe that you’re going to put on the bike to see what it sounds like. Anyways, great review. Keep us all posted. Be safe out there, keep the rubber side up, and enjoy life.

Told you you would like it! Put a good exhaust on there and it'll make a lovely sound. As I said before we took a couple of these bikes one was the sport version and one was the touring the touring for just the extra $1,500 is well worth it a lot more extra we were really surprised with the engine performance it's an incredibly happy little motor I have a KTM 990 Adventure Which is my ultimate bike but after riding a couple of thousand miles from South America on the CF Moto Mt 800 it really did make me think that I should sell my 990 or have both 😅

I love mine! To me its like a loaded african twin at half the price! I live in Maine and ride mine to work as much as I can. towards fall at night on the way home sometimes the temp drops pretty good. Thats where those hand warmers and that heated seat really shine! I have never had a bike with a heated seat but man what a difference it makes on a cold 50 degree night. I have to shut it off as it gets to hot. Great highway bike and also very fun on those curvy country roads. Plenty of power and torque! It does have some quarks but you get use to that like anything else. NO bike is perfect. But for the money and all the features this bike has, it is very hard to beat. I plan to throw some more aggressive tires on mine once these wear down. I have over 3000 miles on mine and not one problem. For my riding style ( country roads, highways and some dirt roads) this bike is my perfect match.

That’s not “cheap”… it’s actually really nice and up to date compared to the other adventure bikes.

Everybody is putting all this electronic garbage on cars and now bikes. Its just more junk to brake down. And you have to take it back to the dealer. More manufacture gimmicks.

There’s plenty of bikes without the electronic stuff. And there’s always the option of not using them. Lol
I’m sure there was people that complained about power steering and air conditioning on cars say that’s just stuff that will “brake”

There is an issue with calipers on these bikes and steering wobble both vertical and lateral.CFMoto engineers yet to find a cause and solution and even in China company reluctant to assist.

Here is the issues I see with these bikes. KTM motor? Ok. are ALL of the components inside the same? Are they ALL the same parts KTM uses? Probably not. KTM frame? Highly unlikely. Most likely a copy OF it, but not the same materials. Probably not the same specs. Cheaper than an equivalent KTM? yes. Not much cheaper than a Japanese bike though. It's not a lot more money to buy say a V Strom. Reliable like a Japanese bike? Highly unlikely but time will tell. I've seen other saying they have experienced problems with these CF Motos.
For me they would be worth a look, were the price not so high. Like I said, a Japanese bike is not much more money but they have a track record of reliability. That reliability is worth more (WAY MORE) than a fancy app or heated seats/grips. Resale on these bikes will be VERY low. There will be few people who will be willing to pay much for one of these used.

Great points there. Time will tell. I’ve seen people add 6k miles already and just basic maintenance needed. But again those are great points

Actually KTM and cfmoto have merged and cfmoto has been making the ktm engine. It is the same engine as in the ktm bikes. These are not copies. So actual KTM motorcycle with a 790 engine in it, that engine is built my cfmoto not ktm. These two companys have been working together now for years.
