    he's right , we watch war movies that never tell the stories of soldiers who cry out in pain and for their families, loved ones when they are hurt and dying. it's like we are afraid to show these VERY BRAVE men and women who feel pain and hopelessness at times just as anyone would.

    I generally don't agree with Crowe, at all. But he's spot on here.

    Crowe's right, but let's hope he doesn't sugar coat the brutality and carnage of war; guys lying in No Man's Land with their legs blown off crying out for the mates to shoot them. Or soldiers drowning in mud at the battle of Passchendaele. Or there's Verdun. Or the Somme. I hope he does this justice.
