Unfortunately, there were reasons why I stayed with someone I came from a difficult environment where some members of my family refused to learn and work to take care of themselves. I believe everybody have a right to be independent and not lean so heavily on children so each child can have a life of their own. Parents that refuse to be a mature adult are bad news and I should have left but stayed to help my siblings until I realized I can't continue to give up my life for them either. I just felt it wasn't felt which is why I married the wrong guy. I didn't want them to keep me from pursuing a life of my own.

I am glad she never married Frank Sinatra because he truly was a real jerk and was manipulative and controlling, I hear stories of the women, he seemed interested he wanted to re-do how they were and not accept them for who they were. No wonder, a lot of women didn't stay with him except for Nancy who came from the same neighborhood, so she knew him well. I saw how he spoke when he answered questioned with another interviewer and I felt he lacked education to not be so damn insecure which he was and made me aware he didn't seem to understand people at least deep down.

So true. The only sense of humor the majority of men seem to have is when they're making fun of women. I think that in order to have a good sense of humor you have to be secure in yourself, to be able to laugh at yourself. I think most men are insecure. Afraid of finding humor in mistakes or even owning up to them. They have this confounding way of always having to be in control especially around women. Very few know how to let loose and just have fun.

Being an old Bogart movie fan in my youth, I thought that the chemistry between Lauren Bacall and him in “To have and have not”, was fantastic. But due to the fact that the dignity of death doesn’t seem to belong to people in the entertainment industry. And like an onset of diarrhea of the mouth folks can’t wait to speak about the intimate secrets of the dead, especially those who were publicly known. Prior to her death, I no longer found her movies worth watching, the exception being the ones that she appeared with Mr. Bogart.
