WHAT BROUGHT ME TO UA-cam: I worked at Goldman Sachs, in Private Equity, and built up a $100M holding company. But after being in Wall Street for so long, I got tired of managing hundreds of millions for the rich. Investing was for the few not the many. F that. You all are the reason I do this. We as a society need to get rich together. My mission is to create 100,000 business owners, I hope you’re one.

❤❤❤❤ I loved this video today!!! 🫶 ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Another UA-camr schilling this, anything for money
“I don’t wanna be liked. I wanna be RESPECTED, and I wanna win.”Sing it girl!
YEEEESSSS!!!
💯
That’s such a shitty American attitude
The internet made the right person famous. 👍✨
No, most dont get it ... Codi worked her ass off and used the internet as a tool of leverage period ~ ❤ you Codi !
Codie made it happen! Internet is one of many tools!
Regardless of how you put it. Codie is Lit🔥🔥🔥
She gotta shine, internet or no internet.
"Easy to find. Hard to reach." That's 🔥
Biggest takeaways:
- Wake up at 5:45 before the rest of the world (the more time you have the more time you can focus on creating opportunity)
- To build a successful business you have to say NO to the things the average person would say yes to, aka the “It’s a School Night” mentality.
- Success always comes with negativity. Take the negative and use that as feedback to improve, get better, and grow more. Repeat.
- Clean your own space! Doing your own dirty work builds character and helps you to be able to “get down & dirty” when crud hits the fan in your business.
- Never neglect your mental health. Your mind is your most powerful tool.
❤
“How you do anything, is how you will do everything“ love it.
John Wick 4
This is something Dr. Benjamin Hardy says All. The. Time. (And yes, it may very well come from somewhere else, but that's not really the point. It's about finding a few phrases that work for you and turning them into your mantras.)
This girl is hardcore. The lifestyle isn't for everyone. I don't think I could be happy running myself ragged like that day in and out. But for those that can handle it, wow, you go.
Yes she seems to enjoy that
I feel its toxic. But I like her talking about things.
At my job I was working 50-60 hours a week. That was too much for me. Now it's less than 40. I make a lot less money especially without any overtime pay, but I feel so much better it's totally worth it. I know for me personally that working crazy hours all the time just isn't worth it. After a certain number of hours, I don't even care about the money, I just want to go home. I could never make 8 figures a year. If I had $10 million, I would just retire.
@@brandonsteele2826 I'm with you
It doesn’t have to be this cut throat, it’s just what’s been sold.
I love that you said that your often wrong. I have been watching successful people around me and that is exactly what I see. But they all have something alike, they are mostly fearless. They are not afraid to make mistakes and move on quickly. They "let it go" and move on. Love this!!
My dad used to say "Half the day is gone before the sun comes up"
I work from home and rarely interact with others. When I'm not spending time with my son, I'm working on side hustles in the evening or when he's asleep. It gets lonely but talking to my therapist over the phone once a week has helped tremendously!
Things I’m trying this year:
1) Hang out with people who are ambitious and minimize the time with friends who have no drive. I actually sat down with one of my closest friends and asked him what he aspired to and literally told him I’m going to have to distance myself from him based on what he said or, more accurately, couldn’t say.
2) I’m waking up early every day. 7AM - 6PM Mon-Fri is work in the business. 6PM-8PM Mon-Fri and 8AM-6PM on Saturday is work on the business.
3) Get to where I can run 2 miles without breaking a sweat cause it’s good for me and it’s hard because I’ve never been a distance runner. Or more to the point, do hard things before the sun comes up.
4) Disregarding any advice from people who haven’t ‘Been There.’ I will throw that stuff straight in the trash and then try to cleanse my mind completely. Every doubt they have in me I already have in myself. I don’t need any of that!
Anybody who throws away a friendship because he’s not as ambitious than you??
That friend is well rid of you.
@@dorothysay8327 Did I say I threw him away? Let me be real, like crabs in a pot being boiled, your family and friends will pull you down intentionally or unintentionally. Would I have been more noble to start spending less and less time and ghost him instead?
I hope you know a true friend one day. True friends will say the hard stuff to you.
You sound like a clown talking about dumping a close friend for “not being as ambitious as you”. Lmao get a grip on reality
With friends like these. 45 treats his family like that still I wish you success
@@dorothysay8327 I’m glad I don’t have you as a friend.
I watch a lot of UA-cam videos... I have to say this is the first one in a long time I've saved and rewatched over 5 times... filled with gold and inspiring. absolutely love this.
On the 'get up early' culture. You only gain more time if you sleep less. Otherwise, assuming a standard 8-hour sleep schedule, you have exactly the same hours in a day that someone who gets up at noon does. You get your 'nobody else is up' time in the morning, while the night owl gets it at night. Personally, as a night owl, I'm far more creative in those overnight hours than I am at any other time of the day. So, different strokes for different folks, but let's not pretend you're getting MORE time.
More time doesn’t necessarily mean more productivity, deep thinking is what matters and is the highest leverage thing. And we need to sleep to maximize our ability to think deeply
I agree, there is magic in the night and Magic in the morning. Time-honored, wisdom and synchronizing with the planet supports people rising early in the morning, it is holy.
Real talk though? 😅Some of us work great late at night and sometimes it’s very hard to go to sleep early.
🔑 I believe the key is to rise early most of the time.
100% I’ll never understand how people push the importance of sleep and how critical it is to your health and development while also pushing to wake up at 4 am for the hell of it. It makes no sense
I believe cleaning up after yourself is an important skill, simple rule of cause and effect. You make it dirty, you clean it up. You break it, you fix it. Teaches responsibility and consequences. You treat things better and are tidier. This principle is great for business: you make a promise, you keep it. You mess it up, you own up and fix it. You treat everything and everyone with the respect they deserve...

You need to check out the Hormozi’s also if you haven’t. Codie and the Hormozis together are nuts.
I love this woman, all my life I've been one to push back and speak up, people called me annoying but i knew i was right. You inspire me to keep pushing
I don’t know what’s more amazing about Codie her beauty or brilliance
Leaning towards both
Codie. You are making America great.
Keep pushing your talent and energy .
15:36 Had a similar experience.
The truth is people that love you hardly support your wildest dreams because your wildest dreams are dangerous. Imagine being Houdini's mom the first time he ever tried the Chinese Water Torture Cell.
I just discovered you yesterday on diary of a CEO, and I am SO glad I did! You have a great personality, are breathtakingly beautiful, and do a great job communicating what has worked for you in all your success and achievements. Thanks for giving back and sharing your experiences with the world! 😊
Yes ❤ thanks 😊
I never had a mentor, but I have found a mentor in you. Thank you!
Very informative and with self reflecting I see some areas need to tighten up today to keep getting the results I need for the tea, Lets Go!!!
I like how a lot of these shots were taken as if the viewer was hanging out with you and getting personal mentorship time. Love it.
Thanks! I listen to what you have to say and like your attitude. I had success in the bricks and mortar world and am making some changes. Keep it going Codie!
Thanks for the re-focus. Much appreciated.
Love your content, thanks so much for sharing Codie! ❤❤
Loved the video style, change of scenery made it entertaining without losing the message. Thank you for being transparent about the hard parts of chasing your dreams. I feel less of a failure for having so many problems to solve haha and motivated again! See you in the next video and until then I have an empire to build ❤❤
Could this come across my feed at any better time than *RIGHT NOW*!? Absolutely Loved this video, and the format , most especially this efficient + succinct, informative straight up lesson list! I’m sticking around for more!
Thank you Codie, super timely info!! Would you consider doing a video on refining a vision or 'How to know what you really really want'..?
I recently signed up for your newsletters and love what I'm reading so far! Thanks for making it free 😂
Thanks Cody love the real life advice!
This was so sincere, straight from the hip non-sugar coated advice. Thank you @Codie Sanchez. Let’s have more straight talking videos.
You are amazing. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us! 🙌
Girl, not sure that Steve Jobs would have said that on his deathbed! I’m sure he would have said, enjoy life more! Because you have no idea if tomorrow is your last day!
Agreed. I have a sister who’s worked @ Goldman for over 20 years (as an admin assistant), and that whole focus on “being respected” and “winning” has turned her into a bit of a monster (because on Wall St, and generally in our world today, it’s based on MONEY and STATUS). I think we all need to define what “being respected” and “winning” really is and entails for ourselves and leave room to “respect” those whose definition of “winning” doesn’t necessarily include making 8 figures and ruling the world. Case in point: there are defense contractors and politicians making 8 figures slaughtering innocents (surely “losers” by THEIR definition) in Palestine (and other “lesser” parts of the world) who totally think they are “winning” right now. No, thank you, to THAT. The people I genuinely respect as TRUE “Winners” are the ones who are true to themselves, do good in the world (not only for themselves but for others), SHARE their knowledge, talents, and wealth, have good/pure HEARTS, and who don’t judge or hold themselves superior to others just because they have more wealth or status in the world. There is always MORE to anyone’s story than we can perceive on the surface, and EVERYONE deserves basic dignity and respect intrinsic to the fact they are fellow humans on their own unique journeys. This said, I respect Codie and her vision and everyone else who shares it, but at the same time, it’s not the ONLY path to happiness and “legacy” in the world. Then again, wouldn’t it be great if we could hold and achieve BOTH these perspectives at the same time. This would involve an even bolder challenge: EVOLUTION of the SOUL. Let’s GET IT!💯🙏🔥
Love this video! Have a goal, have a system to achieve it, and work on it every (F'ing) day. Love it!
Codie is in my top three. It's like I am at church when watching her informational videos. I see her getting bigger, not just for female and Latina entrepreneurs, but also laypeople that aren't in Private Equity or serial entrepreneurship. She touches all bases and tells it how it is. -pure Gold-
Who's your top 1& 2?
Excellent video! Loved it - the video style and bites of wisdom from experience.
Love this format, feels like an old friend is giving me some tips. Well done!
Loved it! Thank you for the great content.
8:00 weighing in on The myth of solopreneurship 👍🏽
Thank you Codie. We are in business for ourselves, but not by ourselves. Self responsibility but team ethos.
Absolutely love this video. One of my new favorite people
Very straight to the point love it very formative great work learned a lot thanks Codie Sanchez from Dx

Thanks for keeping it super simple Codie 👍🏾
Love this content. Thank you for sharing!! 🔥
thank you !!
Exactly what I need to hear! I follow so many men that give it to people straight so happy to have a woman too. Love this approach and also I kind of knew these things so confirmation is fabulous. I'm definitely getting up earlier and earlier lately and just getting stuff done.
A day in the life of a true Badass!! Great advice..good content. You should do more of these, doesn’t have to be as long just simple reminders to keep things simple but focused..
Thanks for the inssights, I value the little insights from your day to day quite a bit!
Great Video!!! Loved IT!!!
Cody…you’re the best business advisor out there!
Listening to this my brain just went “you’re amazing” as if I was speaking to you- so, I thought I better let you know. You’re flipping amazing ✌🏽&💜
Love your videos Codie ❤ love this no b/s guide
That was GREAT!!! thank you🙇🏼♀️
Loved these messages Codie 🎉
Fantastic video…Powerful content and excellent videography and editing. Thank you!!
Good morning, I liked how you asked for people to poke holes in your ideas because you always see/hear/read what you have said and need external verification that it makes sense to others. I also liked the conversational style of the video and how you interacted with your team - learning made enjoyable. Thank you
TY Codie
This was super valuable. Love the clarity you bring! Thank you 🙏
Excellent Time Management video!
I enjoyed how you asked Linzy for input and joked with crew in the background. What impressed me most was calling out Solopreneur ship cuz it is total BS. Every decision an employer or company makes will effect someone in some way, like when your uncle closed his pluming business I'm sure a string of people either had to find a new job, customers a new plumber, plumbing vender a new customer, exedra. The biggest thing I've learned from your channel is just how connected SMB's are to every thing in society.
Thank you! ❤
Build mode!!! ❤Thank you for shining light on the truth of entrepreneurship 😁
Love it. Thanks for the words of wisdom. See you at squad up summit 2024.
Excelente aportación Codie. Muy buenos tips de vida e emprendimiento. Saludos.
Awesome job on this and all your videos ❤
Thank you 🙏,u 🆙 lift me .. 🤛
Absolutely love your videos and instantly shared this one to multiple people. Keep winning Codie! 🏆
Great content! Spot on
This was exactly what I have been practicing recently. Except the getting up early (get home at 12am and take my toddlers to schools). Overall your videos are super informative.
The most important for me is not to leave money behind (my pension). I worked my ass off for it. I have four years left. Overall you are definitely an inspiration to me. I have been utilizing Pomedoro for two years. Excellent. I think someone that links with the limitless ideas is Jim Kwik. Of course he has a G rated thought process, overall similar.
You remind me of Alice. “There is no such thing as impossible.”
Great job and if your parents never told you, “Estoy bien orgullosa de ti, sigue adelante.”❤
Diggin your vibe!
Love this! Great practical advice!
Good words. I like this style.
brillaint as always, 1 million subscribers on your channel is well-deserved with these gems you keep giving us, thank you so much
Loved this video girl. Your videos and realness make me smile and want more for myself
Really loved this one, and enjoyed how much you got your team involved. Great insight, thanks!
Loved this!!!!!!
This video was different, and it was so nice to get peek into your life that felt more real. Thanks for the hard won experience!
Thxs codie ,you're a 💎
Loved this
This was great. I love listening to you over and over. I heard Myron Golden say he watched someone until he could quote the whole thing. Ok, so maybe that is a bit much, but you get the idea. Thanks
Nicely said! Well done. 😎
I really loved this format. Keep doing what you are doing! 🙂
I liked this video very much. I had to admit that when I was younger, I would have take your approach to leadership personal. There is a difference better being a mean boss and being a boss that values what you bring to the table, but is setting a standard for you to follow. I agree with you that we do want to get paid more than the same value we have been giving. Keep winning and putting out videos. You are inspiring me to figure out how I can win.
I like this kind of takes, they feel more organic. Cheers to that!🎉
Codie, you are raw !!! Thank you for not bullshitting…
Codie thank you keep teaching us
Thanks for this video❤
Keep up 🆙 the Good info ….. U 🆙lift me ..🤛Codie Sanchez
This was an insightful and helpful episode. I found many take-a-ways. Our habits will often see us through when the will power or desire is not there. Sometimes you just have one of those days where you do not want to execute those things that must be accomplished. That's when good habits often makes the difference in success. Thanks for sharing. I definitely recommend this video!
You are quite the teacher. I am 66. I wish I would have found you sooner. Sent my grandsons your link. You still have advice that will help me.
I'm not quite sure why you devote so much time to making these videos, but I'm soooooo glad you do; thank you!
Hey @Codiesanchez, thank you for this video!!
I love how you are!!
bada$$ Codie! love it ❤️.
Thank you for sharing
Codie, you’re AWESOME!!!! LFG!!!❤️🏝️🏨🇵🇭
Love this you inspire me
Glad I came across your channel, I am enjoying the straight talking and realistic insights. Way to many videos on here promising the mirage of wealth with no effort - click bait to gets views and income for the creator, not what is going to help most people actually improve their lives. The segment on why most salaries are at the level they are and what to do if you want significantly increase yours would make such a difference to so many employees if they grasped that and put it into practice.
This reminded me of the saying: "You don't get paid for the hour, you get paid for the value you bring to the hour"
