I just bought a new rifle. A Browning Xbolt Hells Canyon Speed Long Range 280 ackley improve. It has a 1@8 twist 26 inch barrel I like the 3x18. But its a FFP. I will use it for hunting. And shooting steel out to 600 yds. I like the Tenmile 4x24x50mm. Like the reticle in this SFP scope. Would it be too much scope for my gun? I have also looked at a few other scopes. Leupold Vx5 3x15x44mm CDS Nightforce SHV 5x20x56mm Zeiss V4 4x16x44mm Huskemaw 4x16x42mm. I want the elevation turret exposed. And the windage turret capped. I put a 20 MOA base on it. I planning on shooting 168gr to 180 gr bullet weight. Any suggestion?
And one of the reasons I actually prefer the Trijicon Credo 2.5-15x42. For those who don't need FFP, but want all of the other features of the Tenmile (and a 2oz weight savings) I find the Credo is the best of both worlds.

Low total elevation travel is the only draw back I see
