    Great job, Foxy. I'm going to try this tomorrow. I do need to get some sausage, though. That looked like it added a lot to the recipe. Thank you so much and God 🙏 bless ❤️ you and your family

    I heard somewhere that the only difference between high and low is the time it takes to reach temp.
    I’m making this today. Thanks

    Awesome! I'm making this but instead of sausage, I'll use ground turkey and ground beef. Also, I love to add salt, pepper, and parsley to my egg and ricotta mixture, along w the Italian seasonings to my sauce and a tsp of sugar. 🙏🏼

    I'm gonna make this on Friday..its starting to light snow here in Michigan so some hot Lasagna will be perfect for the weekend.

      That will be the perfect Friday night thing to make! I'm not sure if you read the blog post, but I did use too much sauce, and it came out really saucy, so you can probably use a bit less. But it still tasted great!

      Great! Let me know how it goes! You definitely don't need to use as much sauce as I did, but it was nice to have a little extra to dip bread into!

    Excellent video! and thanx for speeding up the mundane parts. I'm in Florida, and if I use my oven it gets ridiculously hot in here even with the AC going, so I do a lot of my meals in my crock and rice cooker until the winter.

      This recipe is so awesome! If you do make it you definitely don't need as much sauce as I used! But it was REALLY yummy to use the extra sauce to dip the garlic bread in! :) Enjoy!

    Add an egg or 2 to the ricotta cheese. To make less runny.

    You say you need basil and oregano but I only see you putting in what appears to be oregano, and how much of each ?

    • @FoxysDomesticSide
      @FoxysDomesticSide  4 роки тому +1

      Sorry about that, it's 2 teaspoons each! Will change the directions on my blog too!

      @@FoxysDomesticSide ...lol, I just assumed it was two ( needed some but I knew that wouldn't be too much ), I made a large one in a ten quart pot, 3.5 lbs. of ground beef and 2 lbs. of bulk Italian sausage, I stole my spaghetti sauce trick, I used two packs of McCormick taco seasoning with the beef, added no water, I think I didn't use enough noodles though, oh well I'll see how it is in about an hour, thanks for sharing the recipe. 👍

      @@StevenBradley-sq6kg so how did it come out?!

    • @StevenBradley-sq6kg
      @StevenBradley-sq6kg 4 роки тому +1

      @@FoxysDomesticSide it came out very good, but I used such a large crock pot I will change things next time, with that much stuff, I will put a fourth jar of Muir Glen organic ( what I used ) sauce in with the beef and I will drain the fat out of the beef a little better and add three teaspoons each of oregano and basil and I will still only put three layers of noodles in but this time I will overlap them so there is a little more noodle and I will soak them in hot ( not too hot ) salt water ( so they don't stick ) for a little longer, maybe about a half hour, then it should be perfect.👍

      @Hez121 4 роки тому

      I loveee your recipe so simple I just put it in the crockpot.. if you don’t respond I’ll keep it on low for about 4-5hours

    • @FoxysDomesticSide
      @FoxysDomesticSide  4 роки тому +1

      @@Hez121 Yeah I would go at least 5 hours, because I did 2 hours on high and 2 hours on low and it was perfect. So on low I would do at least 5. Let me know how it goes! Sort of jealous, now I want lasagna!

    It looks really gloopy although I'm sure it was tasty but it's nowhere near as nice as doing it the normal way. Lasagne needs some crispiness.

    • @FoxysDomesticSide
      @FoxysDomesticSide  3 роки тому +3

      Since I was in a hurry and didn't leave myself enough time, I ended up cooking this 2 hours on high and 2 hours on low, but in general I would say 5 hours on low if you can.
