Great video and glad you didn't lose your spoiler. I just installed rain guards, hood protector and floor mats for my 07 9-3. Next will be getting a rear spoiler and aero front lip.
Great Video!! Removing badges is soo much easier with just boiling water from a jug. Poor and peal. I've done it for forever and had no issues at all!.
Glad you saved it! They call it '3M' for a reason....it lasts for 3 mins.! Personally 'Goo gone' has never worked for me, I prefer denatured alcohol & heat. Last resort acetone.
@@WeakestofWeeks Thank you for replying and are you going to paint that chrome piece on your truck or are going to remove? If you remove could you please do a video on how, I'm thinking of painting mine chrome. Thanks again.
@@philliparthur8672 I plan to remove the silver trunk trim from the car to paint. Ideally, I'll also remove the grill surrounds and the fog light trim to prep and paint as well. I plan to film it but not sure when I'll get to it. Unfortunately a lot on my to do list lol
@@WeakestofWeeks I completely understand and can imagine. I wasn't sure if it could be taken off and the next time I go to the junkyard I'm going to practice. Thanks again for all you do for all of us.
I like the look of roof spoilers, but they totally screw up the aerodynamics, and split off most of the air that woukd normally pass over the trunk spoiker. Love the hirsch spoiler though! I have one coming in the mail 🚙 it is definitely a performance part, these style spoilers help the air come off the rear more cleanly, which reduces both lift and drag forces! I also debadged mine, and I agree I'd never ditch the griffin logo! I do personally orefer the blue background though, i feel like it makes the red/gold griffin pop even more than black somehow
I’m surprised, I have a 2010 carbon gray Aero without a spoiler and I love the emblems. But your car, with the spoiler, really does look better without them.
nice work. not my preferred look but too each their own. the roof spoiler should be slightly larger and no trunk spoiler if you ask me. same goes for the debadging. mine came without but i'm actually thinking of putting them back on there (I know i'm weird lol) granted it also depends on the color of the car. in your case it looks better without (the chrome doesn't suit the bright red as much as it does my dark blue 07 saab 9-3) so it's highly situational i'd say. in any case ... i'm still jealous of that color :P
Thanks! I agree I think it depends on color. Even then sometimes I like the emblems and other days I want the clean look. Probably a phase but for now I'm rocking the debadged on the laser red and keeping the emblems on the fusion blue. I suppose that's why its nice to have multiple Saabs to have different looks 😄
Right! I would never pay that much for a non-performance part. I'm glad it came on the car when I bought it. And with as much rain as my area has seen the past few weeks my Saab has basically been a submarine 😄
Could be authentic Hirsch. Could also be from TunStyle. TunStyle has taken their products and molded them directly from original Hirsch products and in that mold, serial numbers, product stamps, and the Hirsch name get reprinted onto the new molds. My 9-3 Combi spoiler from TunStyle had all the above stamped into their mold.

Where did you find the Hirsch decal for the bumper please

Thats a good tip! I'm going to have to try that next time I'm removing emblems. Thank you!
I have clean look on my Aero on the back but I bought new chrome trunk handle with big SAAB sighn insted of that rounded blue emblem. Looks cool.

Haha that funny! I've never heard that about 3M before. That gorilla tape seems ridiculously strong so I don't think that'll fall off anytime soon.
Great video and nice car - really pops in red. Dig your Saab Griffon T Shirt!!!
Thanks! The wifey actually made me that shirt!
She’s missing a great opportunity!! I’d definitely buy one along with all the other Saab fans out there!
Do you have a link to the parts you installed?
I have a question, would you know if its possible to put a rear defuser on a car that doesn't have one?
I've seen it done before but takes a lot of modifying. I'd be worried I'd cut too much and ruin my bumper. So if you go that route just be careful!

Great video! I own a 2002 SAAB 93 SE and a 2009 SAAB 93 2.8V6 XWD. What did you do with the 93 emblem?
Thanks! I gave the original emblems away
Any link to the roof spoiler? 😊
Unfortunately not. I picked it up off of ebay preprinted years ago

I agree! I feel like the emblems do look more at home on my fusion blue that doesn't have a spoiler than the laser red without them.

Crazy money for a non performance part lol 😂 just stylish 💪. Sikaflex is marine glue basically you can fix a submarine or a saab

Oh that's interesting! Wonder how they get away with being such a close copy? Either way, regardless of brand I'm hoping it's on for good lol.
@@WeakestofWeeks I've wondered that too, but they aren't selling it as a "Hirsch" product, so I'm assuming they running into any issues.
Love Your vids but I think its time to inves a litle money in microphone :D
