Which airport hotel did you stay at? My wife and I will also be flying the United SFO to PPT flight which lands at 6pm, so we will have to stay the night somewhere before going to Conrad Bora Bora. Thanks.
We walked over to the Tahiti Airport Motel (it's up a big hill though so might want to call a taxi!). Price was right and we didn't see the point of paying up for the IC or Hilton if we were just going to sleep. YMMV of course :)
🍹 Thank you for the thorough reviews! I am looking at where to stay to have great snorkeling and not break the bank! And to be on the beach but on water bungalow is not a necessity.😊
For snorkeling, it's either St. Regis or Conrad. Probably keep an eye out for a deal, or look into Costco Travel :) If using points, Conrad is pretty good value.
Back in the day, it was a standard price of 70,000 points per night. Nowadays, it's variable. Easier to find availability, but harder to get value (i.e., twice as many points on some days).
🍹 🤔 I’m not so sure about Bora Bora, I’d just rather go to Baha Mar and be next to the beach and waterpark 😅. The room was cool, but it makes me nervous that there aren’t any window screens. Did you guys have any issues with insects in your room?
Back then it was 70,000 points :) You usually want to book IHG 2-4 months in advance (that's when availability opened up). Current prices are variable. More availability but can cost a LOT more.
@@MandyRoams No, we stayed in the Hilton Maldives Amingiri opened in around 2022. The 1st 3 nights in the Beach Pool Villa and the last 2 nights were upgraded to the Overwater Pool Villa.
Great Video, I can't wait to visit Bora Bora in 2 years. 🍹
Excellent review. Looking forward to the review. Please continue the details. Much appreciated. 😊
Thanks for watching :)
Perfect timing, Mandy! We are starting to look into booking our first Bora Bora trip. We are hoping to book the Conrad.
Conrad is solid :)

What kind of coffee maker please?
When did you go during the Bora Bora series? Weather doesn’t look great. I know you said it was dry season but which month?
Le Moana stay was in June. Whenever you're dealing with tropical weather, it can be hit or miss 🙃

Not really any bugs overwater. Bigger issue on the land (and mostly just mosquitos).
🍹How many IHG Points did it cost per night? How was the availability and how far in advance did you have to book this property?
