This was the day use room they gave us. We stayed for a week in an o/w bungalow. Our flight wasn't until 6pm on our last day, so they gave us this room type at no charge for the entire day. Very nice.
That bidet: what's the flow like? In Lisbon it wasn't brilliant, and I hated that. In Chiang-Mai/BKK, it was like using a garden hose on the "Jet" setting with no way to adjust. I guess the benefit of that pressure is any overspray could simply be cleaned with more, direct, spray.
You'd be surprised how good proper italian food is on these resorts. Wife and I hit Seychelles (3 main islands, but I'll speak of La Digue, which is by far our favorite), in 2021 and we stayed at a resort for 3 days on La Digue. It was about $20 to $40 per person, but totally worth it. Can't remember how much breakfast was, but it definitely didn't break the bank and the quality of food was excellent. I don't know how these Italian restaurants do homemade lasagne with meat sauce/proper ragouts given the geography, but it definitely changed my expectations of that type of food on resort islands.
That's a tough one. I think if there's no opportunity cost, then yes (StR > Conrad). Given that it's 100k Bonvoy vs. 120k Hilton (and the fact you can use FNRs with Hilton), I'd probably opt for the Conrad. Can't go wrong with either though :)
Yeah, availability is always the tough thing. It might make sense to reposition to LAX for the AF J (especially if you're trying to do their new product).
Would it be helpful if the volume was lower? Otherwise, music during narration is a pretty common Travel UA-cam trope: ua-cam.com/video/q1KK1NQJ30k/v-deo.htmlsi=VbL10V7ReitvqIZj&t=302 ua-cam.com/video/xLTCivIB4kU/v-deo.htmlsi=fKyA1ivkCKRSIye0&t=595 ua-cam.com/video/5y5uPLNIMzA/v-deo.htmlsi=T6t_2Xpt9i26pVAr&t=531
That’s a one in a lifetime opportunity! The cost is crazy but worth it I bet.

Nice :) Yeah, definitely awesome customer service!
That looks like such fun! Always enjoy seeing you and Mandy traveling.
Thanks! Love the St. Regis :)
We love this channel! Please keep on making the great content
Thank you! Will do!
🦈 Looks very nice. Like the protected lagoon for snorkeling.
Great video!
Thanks for watching :)
🦈 Looks amazing!!! Your thoughts on the Ritz Carlton card coming back for new applications?
I'm leaning towards 90% no, and 10% yes. Hopefully I'm wrong though! :)

Seychelles is on our list for either this year or next year, so good to know :)
🦈 great video!
Thank you 🤗
Headed here in a month!
Enjoy! :)
Have you eaten at Market by Jean-George’s in Paris? Terrence Thornton put me on to that place and the food there is delicious!
Haven't been. Will add it to list to try next time! :)
Would you take the base room (by points) at St Regis over base room at Conrad?

@@SebbyFung i think you are still based in sfo? Did you fly united? Looks like aeroplan is pretty stingy with UA award flights to PPT

Is it safe to snokel with the sharks? That looks crazy!!
Oh and 🦈
Yes, reef sharks are generally friendly unless you're aggressive towards them.
Is this recent or from your series of previous stays?? What status do you have with Marriott
Prior stays we're finally having the chance to edit through. Bonvoy Platinum currently.
🦈🦈🦈
Good informative video not sure why you have annoying background music during narration.

It looked good and real haha 🫠
More talking on the toil.. please
Hahahaha 💩
You pay $4000 and food is still not including? That's one of the most ridiculous thing
