The American M56 tank destroyer is little more than a cannon attached to a small tractor, but it's one of the most fun vehicles in the entirety of War Thunder. The Scorpion is small, fast, and fragile, but it packs a serious punch when using 90mm APHE. I don't know why Gaijin vaporized the loader though.

all youtubers are like that lmao when i get games everyones sweaty as fuck headphones to the max 500$ headsets on surround sound. i suspect its more about youtubers playing at odd hours, like regular school and work hours, probably easier pickings when the majority of people arent on yet.

You should do the scout strat with the Wiesel 1A4, same principal but you get gen 2 thermals and you’re even faster
Seeing you shoot at the conq and do literally nothing had me dying. The visceral “oh I fucked up” moment when you shoot at a heavy tank and it does nothing never fails to amuse me
Yeah, its one of the only well designed heavy tanks with the funny spaced armor addon you can get and such
You should play the Italian M41M 90/53. Weird chassis but the gun is simply a joy to shoot.

The more I learn about Spookston's cursed keybinds the more impressed I am that he can play the game at all, let alone as well as he does.
You should play the M50 Ontos, its my favorite gremlin tank of them all in War Thunder solely because the ability to spam 6 HESH or HEATFS rounds in rapid succession makes it such a fun little demon when you play it right.
I defended A in that map with the town as A with the fortress by it where the other team spawns with an Ontos for a whole round. I would just hide, listen, engine off pop out fire...and fail to kill then fire the other 6 rounds until they died. I was on the point so I just kept getting more ammo. Rinse and repeat. That was the first good round I had with it cuz I still suck with the Ontos.
I would love to see you play the 2S3M. It's such an interesting vehicle to me.

I love the footage of the gunner firing a shot from that thing in testing. It practically does a wheelie, the recoil is so intense on such a small vehicle.

You should have a new look at the ELC Bis. It seems much more playable to me, to the point of being fun.
The strategy is not to be a camping goblin, but keep moving around, and have the enemy shooting at your transmission.
It can survive pretty much anything as long as it’s not APFSDS (really, even T34, Tiger2s, and FV4005 don’t kill it when shooting at the transmission)
Did they update it? I hadn’t paid attention to the patch notes.
@@JoyOfTacos it got moved down to 6.0. Which was a massive buff to it. It’s still not brilliant and doesn’t have scouting (which is some bullshit) but it’s still decently to very fun and you can now have a reliable time killing things.

One of my favorites as well. Your description of being a sneaky scout and only firing occasionally is exactly my kind of game play. M56 is a perfect scout/support vehicle as long as you're a sneaky little rat.

I was in a Leo L/44 yesterday and had no idea one was behind me. Tanked 5 barrels turning around with no damage at all.

The ontos doesn't feel super consistent even with heat.
Ontos is great against a maus. The gun location is the only thing that gets me. T114 I find is really similar.

m56 gameplay i find is some of the most fun to watch - and indeed some of the most fun to play as well

When it comes to dealing with gremlin vehicles, this one isn't so bad to deal with compared to others like the various armoured cars, also 4th attempt at suggesting to play the Conqueror.
I'd love to see you play the "Early War Japan" lineup, consisting of the 57 mm Chi-Ha, the Ha-Go, and the I-Go. (Ro-Go too, if you want). I find the HEAT rounds for the 57 mm to be quite effective, actually. The Ha-Go does have enough pen to deal with a lot of reserve tier threats as well, and the shell is full of filler
You should try the CA Lorraine. Fast AF for its size, deadly and accurate gun, but thin armor. Loads of fun in my opinion

Honestly, the best ambush tank in the game. M82 is gnarly
but if u use it in both the m36 versions and the m26... u will not have the most fun cause panther turrets make it volumetric hell for the US 90mm

The M56 was my go to up until the T92 had its heat shell buffed from 200 mm pen to 254 mm. The M56 is fun, but the T92 is better if you need to try and turn the tide of a match. It’s my “time to be effective” tank, where the T30 is my fun tank.

I can't find much about it's real life presence, nor have I ever seen it in game. No rush, whenever/if you ever feel like making it.
As far as I can tell, it’s basically a modified m113 with a (possibly autoloaded?) version of the 106mm recoilless rifle in the turret.
It was an M114, basically a smol M113, with an auto-loaded 105mm M40 Recoilless rifle. Very few were made

Could you possibly play the M60A1 (AOS)? it's alright imo, but for some reason it's stock APDS has 45mm less penn than the base one.
It has better angled penetration, that's why. Also has a stabilizer!
You gotta try the Ariete PSO. It did just move up to 11.0 recently but I swear its front turret armor is enough to stop most rounds at its BR.
spotting using a light tank is one of the best style of gameplay you could ever do

I still want to see a video on the 105 cv-90 I been seeing more and more Russian mains complain it's op but I think it's just a matter of skill issue Russian top tier teams aren't the smartest. It's typically premium t-72 and 2s38 players that complain most I really want to see what your opinion on it is
The cv 90 105 could be 10.0 considering the auto loader dm33 and lws

"gaijin where's my loader?" is something the M3 and M3A3 Bradleys would like to know as well. Gaijin yeeted the dudes in the back who load the TOW launcher because "they're cav scouts not crew"... but the whole crew is cav scouts and the TOW loaders are an integral part of a cav scout Bradley crew.

I find it funny that I've always done extremely well with this in top tier battles, penning the side of MBTs and just shooting light tanks from sneaky positions while kept moving and hiding is really great. Not to mention somehow the M56 manage to eat and survive most rounds that were thrown at me, although most is eater up by the gun breach. For me this thing is somehow very survivable most of the time

I got to seen an M56 at a museum. It was recommended that the crew dismount before firing, unless it was absolutely necessary to fire quickly.
I think your a mad man for using almost straight AP rounds. I run 5-7 rounds of AP, HEAT, and HESH! Never know when you might need them

You should do the KV-220 for this series. I bought my friend one for a going away gift and we've been playing it. I got it back during the event and figured everyone has it. Did not realize how rare it is, or how good it still is at 5.7 now.
I've been next to one of these things and they are miniscule. I think everyone knows they're tiny, but it's damn close to just being a gun with tracks under it.
