@mortemvenientem8147 it's very useful for studying weakspots and vehicles you normally can't see in the tech tree as I believe OP said, it's a shame more people don't know this (it's also a shame Gaijin doesn't make this available in game without the wiki and just shows the vehicles as unobtainable though). It can be used for the removed German vehicles, TOG, sturmtiger, etc.
You know what else a tank that uses a 90mm Spookston? The french menace known as AMX M4 with its autoloading 90mm that destroy non french tank and its a fun to play

No joke: I set this up for my mouse, then never used it. Then one time I pressed the button on accident and had no clue why my mouse was suddenly so slow. So installed the mouse drivers to fix it and then remembered that I set up like that. Still never used it in the game. I think I did it once and it still wasn’t precise enough for a long range shot.

When I saw the Bearcat, my first thought was "Does Spookston know that thing's flight model is fucked and can't handle Asymmetrical weight on the wings?" The answer was he did not. Some helpful advice for next time is to keep it below 500 kph in the divs so you have the control authority to overcome the asymmetrical load. That and be gentle, keep the pulls below 5Gs and in one input.
Oh my god the number of times I've done that in the F8F and faceplanted. I learned that you need to mouse climb rather than use the WASD flight controls to pull out of a dive when you drop the off centre bomb because otherwise the instructor has a fight with you and only the terrain wins.
Day 32 of telling spookston to play the IT1. its a ATGM launcher on the t62 chassis, it has decent-ish mobility, the turret is squished. You can hide behind cover and shoot ATGM over the cover like a gremlin and you overpressure tanks (tho it can be rare, but it does happen without you realizing) and its MG is really werid. Also it has a cool reload animation.
Day 137 You should play a tank with hydropneumatic suspension (recommend the MBT-70) But the catch is you have to drop the suspension as low as it can go for the whole match.
This video highlights one of my pet peeves with War Thunder, not being able to see all the random event vehicles you might run into anywhere to run protection analysis.
