Does anyone know how to use copy and paste in flip book mode? The paste button doesn’t show up on the flip book widget also I can’t get the perfect quick shape tool to work
This is the most helpful Procreate Dreams tutorial. I hope some of these become more intuitive in the future. My favorite discovery so far is zooming all the way in on the timeline until you can see frame by frame. There you can add frames just like in flipbook mode, but you can still see your entire timeline. I prefer it to flipbook.
Really helpful video! One thing that still triggers me is that I can’t find an option to turn the brush cursor on and it gets really annoying when I want to erase something but I don’t know how big the eraser brush is T-T. Do you know if there is a way to turn it on?
okay, newbie question: The the clipping mask affects the track directly beneath it? And conceivably you could add a blank track, draw any pattern, solid or semi-transparent, and then click clipping mask and it will act as a mask on the track below? What if there is a group of tracks below? Are they all clipped?
Thanks so much - great tips. When I have animated a drawn image and grouped the elements and then wish to add a new feature say eyebrows to the animation - not sure how this works and would really appreciate a video on this thanks!
Glad you like it :) if you want to add something into the group you can open it by clicking on the arrow near the group name. It will open it and you could edit all the tracks there or add new. Let me know if it helps
You just need to click on the + then you can click on “files” and add the audio you want from your downloaded files! It just worked to me :) hope it helps.

So you basicslly never use Layers and just use the timeline
Right now layers are super limited… but I hope they will change it in the next update :)
Thanks for summarising the video m8! But layers do help in moving/removing specific drawings anyway.
@@alex.g7317 You couldn't rearrange them when Dreams first came out, so even that wasn't originally viable compared to the timeline.

Pasting in flipbook is very buggy, sometimes you can do it if you add a frame and then clear it, and then paste. Quick shape is not a feature yet.
