I just made this tonight for my wife, who generally dislikes fresh sausage. She (and I) ate every bite that we were served. I'm kind of looking forward to Autumn so that I can make some of this on a cold day. Great recipe, as always!
Everyone is suddenly Irish during this time of the year 😂☘️
Cheers from San Diego California
Looks good Laura love this recipe thanks for sharing this recipe with us God Bless you and your family ❤
That looks amazing, will definitely be making some.
Looks absolutely delicious ❤️
That's one of our favorite meals and I didn't know that it's called that. However your recipe looks even better than mine!
Just made this last night
Good meal
Looks delicious, Laura 👍🏼👍🏼🌹
delicious
Laura. I have been searching for an easy recipe for a st Patrick’s day party to go to tomorrow. I just found it!! Thanks to you 👍😊😊
Did you get this recipe? I can’t find it online.
@@littlehousehappyhome1504 no I couldn’t find it either. I just followed her carefully 😌
@@ginaholshue8601 thank you for replying. I’ll just look elsewhere for a recipe. Thanks again.
You know..... Boiled dinner is going to be so expensive this year that I decided to make this exact recipe. Ill serve with some cabbage and a nice Irish soda bread and VOILA!!!! thanks, Laura!!
Cabbage? Hell yes!
What a nice sharing 👏 😊
Thank you my friend ❤️
Good luck 👍 💓 ✨️
Ciao Laura!! Saporito!!
Nice 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 next time you make this you should try using Guinness Extra Stout for some additional flavor. You can do a comparison taste test and see if you want to use it for some other recipe in the future.
I have a date with this recipe on March 17th ☘️
😋
I always keep the bacon grease for when I cook beans.
What a delicious dish, it doesn’t matter if your Irish or not and everything is better with SPUDS!👏👏😁😁👌👌 thank you Laura for another home run!🥰🥰🥰
By the way I'm not Irish but if you're part Scott does that count!!
I wonder what is the size of her pan. I need one like that too lol
what brand of pork sausages?
Just an FYI Laura, the correct pronunciation is COD... DLE like in the fish, Cod. CODDLE. Looks delicious!!
sent this to my boyfriend and he said he's coming over rn! thanks laura
Lol at the title
💜💜💜💜😋😋
😋🥰
I hope I'm not the only Irish person who doesn't like coddle 😂
Well done Laura, greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Lecker 😋🤤🤤🤤
I guess you can cook this on a slow cooker ???
I would say you want to brown the meat first, do the onions and deglaze the pan but then don't see why not throw it all in the slow cooker. Though you may want to watch the quantity of liquid. Other than that it makes sense to do so 😁
In Philly we Catholics have permission to eat meat on St. Patrick's day (Friday). This is a definite for dinner that day.
We were also given permission to eat meat this Friday but I still don't think it's right.. but that's just me..
I don’t think the Catholic Church has the moral rights to give you rules to follow…if you know what I mean 😅
Cheers from San Diego California
Hi fellow Catholic!! 👍☺️
@@JohnHausser it's not necessary to abstain from meat.. it's upto each one :)
@@meganrose7942 That's normally true but on Ash Wednesday and the 6 Fridays of Lent, the rule of "no meat" is still in effect.
That's not a traditional Dublin coddle.. I'm kinda upset you added garlic and Guinness. If you want a real recipe reply to me. 10 out of 10 for effort tho and happy St Patrick's day from Dublin
WHAT?? Where’s the San Giuseppe recipes??😘😂
Haven't had Coddle in years! It really is the ONLY way to eat sausage!
Looks wonderful, but unfortunately.. it's Friday and Lent time..
You can still make it for st. Paddy’s weekend. This would be good for Sunday dinner
@@badwolfe9775 You are absolutely right.. 💯 ❤️
Don't tease me
DON'T THROW THAT FAT AWAY!!
are you still married
That's not really your business is it Anna
