Show Us Your Cave - Tycho & Genelec’s 8341 “The Ones”

Genelec visits the new Oakland, California workspace of performer, electronic musician, composer, songwriter and graphic artist Tycho to discuss his history with Genelec, his approach to collaboration and his quest for the right gear layout that sparks creativity while being ergonomic and efficient.
Tycho (aka Scott Hansen) is a multi-Grammy nominee whose music blends elements from chillwave, ambient, downtempo, vintage synths, and experimental music. His fourth and fifth studio albums, Epoch and Weather, received nominations for Best Dance/Electronic Album in the 2017 and 2020 Grammy Awards, respectively.
Tycho is a longtime Genelec user whose setup in the past included 8030 Studio Monitors. His current monitoring setup is centered around Genelec’s 8341 “The Ones” Smart Active Monitors, along with a Genelec 7360 subwoofer.
