I would watch hours of this. This was so genuinely cool to see and like another person said, it was joyous to watch Tycho freak out with new sounds, we all know that feeling so well. It's amazing. Great job.
Agreed, longer versions of this kind of thing :)Great to hear Joel's creations in this kind of contect. Maybe even beginning brainstorming to full track kind of mine documentary episodes
"It's a Boards of Canada device." Well sir, you just sold me. What a great video. I could watch these guys smile and react to these incredible sounds like kids all day. Such great creative energy.
Yeah but for so many people they get ahead of themselves and just accumulate lots of gear for lots of $, and they get confused and don't do it anything with it, then they end up selling some of it because they have no money, so on and so on. It can fuck up your life. Better to chill, buy equipment you can afford, and keep your setup simple until you really reach a point where you're limited by your lack of gear. Most people don't get there ever. Having fun with it is the most important thing.
@chaseblissaudio It’s so awesome to see people of this caliber flipping out about these boxes. Boxes that we mortals can also own:) So cool! I’m really happy for and proud of you guys!
Easily the best series of pedals on the market imo. You guys rule. My board is gonna have like 4 of your pedals. I'll definitely be using them as outboard mixing gear too. I figure it's kind of a kill two birds with one stone kinda thing considering the price. Well worth it though. Only tried Condor and Brothers so far but they both are absolutely amazing. Condor might be my favorite pedal of all time honestly. You guys are geniuses.
I've ate heroic dosages of shrooms while listening to TYCHO, and cried. One of his albums, I'm pretty sure plays backwards about halfway through, takes me to a place where anger steps back while happiness and sadness can hold hands. Life is Beautiful
I know I don’t have the creativity at this point in life to bring those components together to make music, but I envy those that can and thoroughly enjoy the result of their efforts. Keep up the amazing music, Tycho! And keep building, inspiring, and just generally being such a cool guy Joel.
cleft turnip those reissued mn3005 BBD chips aren’t cheap. The RKM and the THERMAE have 4 chips each. You get what you pay for though, nothing quite compares.
Higher costs of production due to being handmade in the United States with higher quality materials/components and a more sophisticated design than with most other pedals. If they farmed out their labor overseas and used cheaper components and parts, the pedals would be cheaper.
Tycho simply sounds amazing. Pure magic for the ears. I am a huge fan of his music, and Tycho is a big influence on my style of song writing. If you guys want to hear it, just visit my channel where I have uploaded my first song. Thanks in advance !
Tycho is one of my favourite artist and the main reference I have when I'm writing a song. As a guitar player, I always try to reach the vibes he puts in his songs. You can hear it in my new song, "Departures" that I have just released. Any comment or feedback is appreciated !

"Boards of canada device" TRIGGER! Tycho is an amazing artist, cool to see him very passionate about the sounds. Loved it.
Chase Bliss and Tycho, literally two of my favorite things in the world. 50,000 thumbs up, super, super cool.

Super cool. I'd watch a whole documentary on this.

5 1/2 minutes of this isn't anywhere near enough, thoroughly enjoyed it!
scott is a creative genius. hope to see tycho soon!
so nice watching someone get all giddy over genuinely great gear
I love watching this video... Chase Bliss and Tycho - dream team! :)
if you ever want to come to my studio would be happy to run some tape loops and 4 track cassette recorders through your pedals!
i second this
I third this
yes pls
Yes !
I am the 5th person who will buy that album.
This is why hardware is important and makes you creative, because it's tactile.
no. its personal preferences
Ridiculous comment. Four Tet makes entire albums with an audio interface and a midi keyboard
Hardware and software achieve the same musical results with different methods. It's not the pen or pencil, it's the hand holding it.

dbo514 such truth. This is me at present unfortunately
Man this was great. It's fun seeing Tycho get excited like a little child with every new sound.

Tonal Recall into warped vinyl, agreed on that combo! Also love the MonoPoly here, such a distinct sound.
my goodness that thing sounds amazing.
Through the synths...dang...i cant wait to run my SH-101/SE-02 through those!!
Yeah it's awesome to see what actually makes that "Tycho" sound. It's clear that synth is a cornerstone to his tones
loan into bankrupt :')
Congrats, team. Love the pedals. Love Tycho.
Man loved hearing the monopoly through all the pedals. Appreciate seeing the creative process. You made a great video.

Hot dangggg. This is incredible!! Love the looks of STOKE on their faces
that tonal recall into the thermae
I loved everything about this. Best way to start my day!
Super glad to see this series! Also I would love to see AMULETS featured. That would be some killer content!
Oh man, Tycho is such an audio geek. Love it!
This video is my happy place. I love Scott and Joel!!
need all of these now.
This is really dope. Interesting to see his whole process.
awesomeness from an awesome company!!
Can you ask him who made his shelf with the drawer slide shelves? Would love to have one made.
That studio is beautiful..

I love this comment and I love you
@@skyborax5159 I love you too
Great comment. Looks like psilocybin was good to you. Always helped me too.
Ngl this is a pretty badass comment I hope I can produce music like this someday... Have this sort of effect on people.
I think the Thermae will be on a lot of creative musicians' pedal boards in the near future. It's like a collaborative R2-D2 with a mind of its own!

Always Amazing Tycho
I can’t like this enough times... love it! 🙌🏼
I love Tycho's painting
sublime
What's the white pedal at the beginning 0:27 ? Google Lens had no results & I don't see it on the Chase Bliss site. Sounds beautiful
Warped Vinyl mkII!
@@ChaseBlissAudio Wonderful! Thank you & amazing job there w that one! 👍🙌
I gotta get my weird noise pedals off the floor and onto a shelf/table like that for my home setup.
A local music shop has a Mono/Poly for sale I wish i had the money right now to get it
This was fun to watch.
"boards of canada device"
Tycho and KOAN Sound Collab would be amazing
does anyone know where I can get the Hologram Electronics type knobs that Tycho has on his Big Sky & Timeline?
Amazing!!! Too much fun!!!
Does he have it all running through the strum on iridium????
hard to say but it's entirely possible!
Such a cool video
So epic!!! Thanks for sharing this!
That sad neve lunchbox and Infinite jets in the corner. Don't you guys like them?
If the camera could stay in focus that'd be great!!
The camera is doing an emulation of what it would be like to be in the room on ketamine.
I
Speechless 😶 ♥️
Great stuff !
very inspiring good work
Yes Tycho
what are those cool looking patch cables?
We need a collaboration album with Joel and Scott.
Pretty sad you guys skipped over the gold top so fast. Would have liked to know more about it.
This is the best
Totally unrelated but does anyone know where to get a pedalboard like that?
that riff at 0:16 is so nice
Bliss 👌
First of all how’d he get them new pedals- I KNOW THEYRE OUT THERE LET ME BUY SOME !!! Lol
New Tycho coming??
What pedal was he talking about in the beginning when he was playing his favorite guitar tone?
The "Tonal Control"
Tonal recall
Why are these pedals so expensive?
cleft turnip those reissued mn3005 BBD chips aren’t cheap. The RKM and the THERMAE have 4 chips each. You get what you pay for though, nothing quite compares.
Caleb Genheimer or so the chip manufacturers want you to believe 😉
cleft turnip cuz they’re fuckin great?!
Neale Scott still

2:58 gives me a James Blake vibe
Who is the other fellow?
Beep boop❤️
|That's pretty much how I bliss.
i thought he kept saying total recall.
"That's a boards of canada device"
I just wish this could have had even more shaky, out of focus camera movements with even more close-ups of their nose hairs.
I didn't even notice it until I watched the video. Maybe you should unmute the video; it might be less distracting.
Sid R. The audio is obviously the best part and the reason why I'd watch this video (because I'm a huge fan of Tycho)!
Thats'how I wanna bliss
It's a boards of canada device - Scott lol
I have the overwhelming urge to give joyous hugs to everyone in that room.
“So.............woooOOOOAH”
With George L's holding everything together!
everything is awesome?
Tycho simply sounds amazing. Pure magic for the ears.
I am a huge fan of his music, and Tycho is a big influence on my style of song writing. If you guys want to hear it, just visit my channel where I have uploaded my first song. Thanks in advance !
I've been thinking on who Scott looks like, and then got it - it's Henry Cavill! LOL! xD
team reaper!
Want everything you make
Cool sounds...jittery images and frustrating focus on the video though :(
the camera guy doesnt know what focus is
this guy commenting on youtube doesn't know what camera work is

I wish I was rich..
Toys.
So much rack focus.
the pedel dealer and his Fs ffffffFF .... ffffFffFF..
Yeah, yeah,... Sure.... Oh, man. Seriously? Sounds like you noodled for the first time in you life.
I just realized how overrated this guy is
this isnt music , its just noises.
I would direct you to the short film "Sound???" featuring John Cage and Rahsaan Roland Kirk: ua-cam.com/video/eer-TTW0qEs/v-deo.html
No. Noise is null composing. Music is organized sound.
Always Amazing Tycho
