One of my favorite videos of the year! I'm using Ashley Shelly monthly for work, Sprouted daily planner, and the Janes Agenda disc system for everything else. I'm set to go!! :)
I'm also using H&O b5 Weekly. Mine will be for my color-coded schedule for my entire family. I used their smaller weekly last year for this and i'm excited to have just a little more room. I'll use the H&O Daily for my daily lists and more detailed plan for the day. I have Powersheets for goals, ValMarie Paper for prayers, a Spaces notebook for ongoing lists and an old Erin Condren monthly for projects. I've been in an English Cousin for two years but didn't want to deal with the ghosting anymore. I hope I won't regret the change.
Love seeing your stack! Mine for 2025 is the EC hourly as my weekly dashboard, the EC compact vertical for my daily list, Sprouted monthly for health tracking and a few other bits, and Sprouted weekly as my work planner. And continuing my Leuchtturm 5yr journal. Really looking forward to your Aura Estelle review, their 365 appeals a lot!
I love seeing how you use your various planners! All of your systems make perfect sense. I'm using two planners this year; Sprouted for my life plans and Laurel Denise for my writing goals and word tracking (I'm an author.) I also always have a prayer journal, but it isn't a 'planner.' I feel so excited to have two different planners this year! 😁
I just wanted to thank you for all your reviews and talking through the planners. I have tried in the past the mom agenda and I have had many different types of the plum paper planners. I have struggled this past year because the type of planner I had wasn’t working for me. I felt guilty for needing a new one. After watching you, I have ordered the she plans daily for work and the vertical priorities from plum paper for 2025. I feel better about my decisions and prayerfully working through my 2025 goals. Again thanks so much. Your work is appreciated
I’m so glad my videos helped:) Thanks for taking the time to share what youo have carefully and prayerfully chosen for 2025. I hope it will bless your year;)
This review amazes me because you are using multiple planners in the same year: six of them in all, it appears. I did not realize that is a thing. I have been thinking about using planners more in the past month or two, so I've watched several UA-cam videos from different people discussing planners. Thank you for introducing the Hemlock and Oak line of planners and also the Common Planner. How interesting!
Planners can definitely be a hobby...and my memory keeping in a planner is. But the rest of the planners really do run my life. Having a separate one for work vs life is pretty common in the planner world. and since I review planners for my job I have access to so many amazing planners! But using one planner is very common too:)
I have always wanted a H&O but I just didn’t think the weekly pages would work. I’ve been using a sterling ink. Your video clinched it. I just bought the minimal b5. I’m excited! Used your code. Thanks Amanda!
That's a good attitude..."we will see how it goes". That how I feel too Sarah:) But no matter what we end up doing during the year...the beginning of the year in new planners feels so exciting:)
I was set with the common planner, but saw the H&O B5 and knew it was a game changer. I have the Elderberry one, too! Cannot wait to use it. I'm still using the SI N1 size common planner as my EDC/homeschool tracker, but I'm thrilled to use the H&O as my primary weekly.
Love your video. My 2025 stack: Continue in 4theloveofpi teacher planner, Ashley Shelley monthly, Plum Paper vertical priorities weekly, Bright Day Calendar as needed for daily. Bible Study and prayer list in the EC A5 weekly planner.
My 2025 stack Main planner - wonderland222 A6 all in one Gratitude and long form journal - hemlock & oak undated daily journal. I write my gratitude in the monthly. Daily list notebook - kokuyo b6 soft ring notebook
Im using the Sprouted horizontal weekly, a journal for sermon notes, and weekly journal writing that i do. Im contemplating doing a gratitude journal. I have a weightlifting workout journal/log to keep track of my.weightlifting workouts. Looking forward to literally turning the page to 2025.
This video made me look more closely at Hemlock and Oak products. Yesterday I ordered one. I hope to get it in early February. I will see how it works for me.
I am so excited to start using my H&O b5! I'm actually so excited that I am finishing the year in my regular size H&O, and it is reminding me how much I really love that planner. I'm actually trying to use it as my only planner right now (no LD), and so far it's been fine. We'll see how that goes long term, though. So my stack that I will be actually using going into 2025 is: H&O b5, Ashley Shelley monthly for meal planning, Katie Daisy for gratitude. And that's it at the moment!
Love your stack Amanda! 💗 love how you streamlined and simplified your planners and journals..😃 my stack right now is - weekly :Laurel Denise mini horizontal, daily: Hemlock and Oak chunky daily! and Planner Perfect for scripting my days etc.. I also have a Prayer journal and Scripture journal ( for study notes and memorization). On impulse I bought a Hemlock and Oak weekly on sale as I worried what if I’d miss it too much after using it all year? 😅 will see! Happy Holidays to you Amanda and your family..❤️
I have a 2024 B6 Common planner that I have used the same way that you are planning to use one in 2025. It was not one I was using for daily planning so I turned it into more of a daily journaling book. It has morphed into a Bible study aid as well. I didn't stick to the daily/weekly pages but used that space for Bible verse that were meaningful that week. Then the end pages, I have dated (not every day but often skip days and then use 2 pages/day at other times), and use for writing out my Bible study notes or thoughts and highlights from the daily life events of the family. I prefer this to the Hobonichi because I feel better about using the pages in my own way while still having an annual timeline as well. Fun lineup!
Hello planner queen. While you manage a planner stack. I have even further streamlined my planners. I am trying this year with no Ashley Shelly monthly. I still love her planners but I just dont want to deal with two. So I am packing my plum paper monthly that I have covered with clear contact paper to withstand its daily beating. We will see how I manage with one planner. More power to you with your planner stack!
Your desk is so beautiful and organised..Ur Planner set up is really impressed me..But, I have using Neorah Planner for past 2 yrs. this is the planner is simple and minimalistic planner so easy to use and very handy. The quality for the price paid is worth . It has all things which a productive person needs for planning like weekly plan, montky goals, vision board, expense tracker ,habit tracker, notes … much more overall its a perfect planner . You can blindly go for this planner!
Nice video. I have a personal ring planner. Easy to move pages if needed. I use a Sunday start for my months, but also wanted something portable. I often buy H&O notebooks; their paper is amazing!
The Common Planner offered a B5 this year, although it isn't a hardbound like the Hemlock & Oak planner. I like the reduced number of planners this year also.
I love that these 2 companies are both going to B5! I do love having a bit sturdier of a cover...so I don't feel like I need to find a case to purchase;)
I am using Sprouted Planner weekly and SP monthly sewn planner for wellness. I have a 4$ weekly planner from Amazon for work and a journal for sermon notes. Love your videos!
I thought for sure I was going to use a Moleskine large daily. But a page a day is not enough room, so I’m getting Planner Perfect Wide books! Not the sub boxes or anything. In my PP cover I have Trsvelers Company narrow monthly and weekly (because I’ve already bought them, so I’ll use them!) and then two PP inserts: a journal and notes. Normally I’m a Standard TN girl, so being in wide will be interesting, but I can always do PP narrow inserts too!
This year Im switching from a Plum Paper Planner and I’m trying out the Mäksē Life Flagship Vertical planner for my weekly. Not sure yet if I’ll miss my companion notebooks 😅 I’m also using a notebook for my daily and brain dump, as needed. That’s all for now. 😊
I used the unbound planner for 5 years and this year she switched to an undated 😢 I bought it but I really am struggling with it as much as I thought I would … unless she brings the dates back I will be using something else next year. Would love your recommendation of a comparable goal planner coming from loving the dated unbound planner.
My 2025 stack: Sterling Ink Common Planner A5 for weekly, monthly, daily, and notes Hobonichi Weeks for health and wellness tracking Sterling Ink Weekly Booklet N1 for meal planning and a notebook my MIL gifted me from Paris for my daily 1-sentence journal :)
Great to see what you'll be using! I think Canada may still be having their postal service strike. I'd be checking that out before buying from H & O if needing one right away. For me, I'll be using a combo of some Draper James and Sugar Paper (near) a5 size books in my E.C. petite folio. I loved my weekly planners from Target and Hobby Lobby but there just was not enough space for me in the long run.
Amanda, I don't know if I am switching my weekly planner or just adding to my stack. I thought I had decided on Twines and Paper Hybrid book and Papertess, but I just purchased Cal Newport's planner. I might use Cal's planner for work and the Twines and Paper for personal but not sure yet.
I am sure they do plan to restock! they do run out of things like this that are popular- but as long as it's on the site I bet it will be back. Jenny- who runs Planner Perfect- Her husband just suffered a massive stroke right after Christmas. So I think it took a few weeks to get things going again as they recover from that. If you want to know for sure I would email Planner Perfect or ask on Planner Perfect FB fans page:) It's such a great journal:)xxx
What great picks for the new year! Can you tell me what exactly the Planner Perfect journal is called? I have looked on the site and only see her other sewn journals like what are in the sub box etc... Thank you!
The sub box comes with her Plan book which lasts a month. With a monthly layout and the weekly layouts and daily blank pages. Sub box also comes with a blank journal (you can choose dot grid too on both books in the sub box). But you can also just buy a plan book or journal with whatever pages you what to choose inside and customize the covers. I do feel like it's fun and easy to give it a try with a sub box first. You might want to watch my Planner Perfect 101 video. Her website can be confusing if you are just starting into the system. I am not sure if I answered your question? Feel free to ask if you need more help:) xxx
@ Thank you! Yes the website is a bit confusing. I looked under journals and it seemed like the same sewn ones that are for the planner. It looks to me like the one you have is a different cover type so I was confused. I will look at them again! Thank you for replying 😊
@@vickithurber7972 the yellow one with a Daisy is called the Daisy Book. Search it by that and you should find it. It is separate from the other journals.
I did love it and still do. I used it for 9 months in 2024. But there are so many amazing planners out there and I think the b5 Hemlock & Oak will be a great fit and a fun change for 2025.
That's definitely not my life. My planners serve me;) They mainly stay on my desk in my office. Journals are in my bedroom. I share more about my personal life on Instagram if you are interested;) xxx
Erin Condren and Golden Coil have the most tooth. I really can't think of any other planner paper off the top of my head that would have as much tooth or even come close to those two:)
