You get about 40K for the jump itself and if you redeem the Numen Runes you will get about 90k to 100k runes without the Golden Scarab Talisman.
You can do the this rune farm at the Deeproot Depths area! To get here you'll need to find a way into Nokron. There are 2 ways to get here: fight Radahn or use a wrong warp glitch. I have an easy to do glitch to spawn in front of the mimic tear boss battle right here:

Steps To Do the Rune Jump:
1.) Position yourself near the cliff's edge
2.) Mount up on Torrent
3.) Sprint Jump off the cliff
4.) Delay (about 1 or 2 secs)
5.) Double Jump
6.) Spam Attacc
7.) ??

I got an Somber Stone 6 and a Numen Rune and Rune Arc, and that was it.
The numen runes only drop once. If you have killed the ants that give those numen runes they would not drop again. The ant enemy that drops the numen rumen does not respawn
These items are just from the big ball ants in the cave nearby that has the elden stars
Yeah, the items are from those enemies and they are one time drop per playthrough.
The glitch still works but I don't get anything from swinging the sword might be because I already ran through the map and killed everything at least once but awesome to know for new runs
I did the same, but it still gives them to you, it just takes much longer than normal, so I counted 1 minute or 2

Still works as of 1.10 but you need to go and jump left of finger crone towards the HUGE tree to the left
Thank you for sharing that feedback! In my investigation I found that going to the left ledge near the finger reader made this jump way more consistent! I'll pin your comment so others can see your advice.

This still ought to work. This version is a bit tricky because you need to jump with enough speed and at the right angle.

You'll have to do some parkour to get up on the nearby trees to get the height to leap over the kill box.

I have done everything my to get this jump right and it’s STILL DOES NOT WORK! Is it patched?
I had someone earlier today confirm that it still works. They commented here about 8 hours ago.
This specific jump is difficult. Have you been getting the initial dash? You need the speed from the dash jump to leap over the killbox.
There is a longer route that you can do and climb the trees to the right of Finger Reader.

I will need more time to research why this specific jump is not working. In the meantime, I hope the video I linked helps you. It's a longer version of this method but it does work.

This rune farm does still work. You need to move more to the ledge left of the finger crone.
Also make sure to do the long jump or getting a running head start to get the momentum so the second jump gets you out of bounds and free fall.
If that doesn't work the longer parkour heavy version of this farm works too. You run up the thin tree near by the thicker roots. I have a youtube shorts going over it. If you like I can link it here.
Literally the only reason to do this glitch is for the numen runes and rune arcs. Which is easier to obtain by just killin the damn ants imo.
I completely agree. I find this glitch to be the most useless rune farm since you have to get to the upper part of the siofra river then fight gargoyles. It's not worth it at all.
The greyoll glitch farm is better since you get just about the same amount of runes without any of that hassle and can be down super early game.
@Ryza are there any glitches that drop numen runes ,or anything like that, consistently?
@@robertrosales2285 Not that I am aware of. Technically you can do that item duping strat that involved another player and backup saves but it's a lot of work.
The best options for runes are pretty much in Moghwyns Palace. The bird and albinaurtic farms are steady yet tedious.
I'll do some research and see if I can find newer farms or alternative rune farms.
If you are on PC and have the Sacred Sword from the final boss, I have an autohotkey script that does the albinaurtic farm for you. Takes a bit of set up though.
@@ryazarector nah im on ps4. It's not like I need the rune glitch, but it is nice on a fresh run when I'm ready to switch play styles or when I need to buy upgrade stuff. But I'll definitely keep an eye out for more of your videos, especially with the dlc coming out sometime in the next 20 years lol

@@Local_commentor I am still investigating this. Most of these rune jumps have been unaffected by multiple patches and it would be strange to patch this one but not any of the other easier and more profitable jumps like Moghwyn Dynasty Palace and the Ordina skip.
When you are performing the first jump it is a dash jump right? Like the long jump that happens when u press the dash and jump button simultaneously?
I had time to investigate this and this short version does work. It is just harder than before. The longer version of the jump that requires parkouring on the tree roots still works too. The parkour might be a bit easier than the cliff long jump though.
I tested it out on the current 1.10 patch. I do not play on console but I suspect that both still work as well. It would be too odd of fromsoft to patch out glitches on one platform and not the others.
@@ryazarector I tried a different version one that you jump to the left into the tree root and delay ur second jump by 3 secs and it's much easier and consistent
Wait it gives Numens runes everytime?
Tragically no this will not give numen runes every time. The numen runes are only a one time thing.

No need to apologize, there is still a farm in deeproot in that area, utilize the root terrain near the grace and go to the farthest branch and double jump for the same result. Takes a little longer but still works
@@thepudah Yes thats the long version of the jump. I'm glad that still works. It would be weird for fromsoft to patch just this rune jump entirely and not the other ones.

I wanted to update you on my findings. This short version of the rune jump does still work! It is definitely harder than before. I recorded the footage and I'll be using it for an upcoming video.
Not working
The jump is difficult. Once you get the timing down it becomes manageable. It took me a lot of trial and error to get it down. The initial sprint jump and the delay before the second jump are crucial to getting the distance needed to leap over the killbox. Keep trying!
I'm also working on a quick guide going over the other method that requires some parkour on Torrent. It's longer but perhaps more forgiving than this method.

I'll look into this one. I remember this method having problems. I normally recommend the longer method which requires jumping onto the roots nearby and climbing/parkouring up and around.
I do not recall if both methods were patched. I'll reply back to your comment after I test out some stuff.

It does work it is just trickier to pull off. You really need that long jump from torrent and at the right angle.

It works on console too! It just takes practise. Make sure to do the sprint jump and delay the second jump to leap over the killbox.

@@Coldblitx you keep hitting the attack button until you see the animation of the runes being added to your character. You'll see golden lights rushing to your character. Normally it's like a minute to two minutes of spamming attack.
