- This video is dedicated to starting BJJ practitioners on their way to using wrestling stance and motion drills to improve the standing aspect of their game. At our gym we like to pair the proven track record of Gracie jiu jitsu with wrestling to achieve results. This is excellent for BJJ and MMA competitors, self defense and fitness. Performing this drill will increase not only skill but also athleticism.
In the video you will see a step by step tutorial for performing the same stance and motion drills employed in a college wrestling practice. At Brandon's Gym - Carlson Gracie Columbus Jiu Jitsu we utilize the system Coach Adam DiSabato uses in his practices. We try to perform this drill exactly as Coach does to refine our technique.
