This is not ok. I personally would be questioning this if I was In critical care and needed a nurse to take care of me or family. I would only expect the best of the best, when it comes to my life. But I must make this point! This is a good example of why these high paid degrees are just a piece of paper for thousands of people. There are so many jobs that shouldn't require a degree that cost as much as a home mortgage. There are jobs that can be done with proper on the job training. My Grandmother was a Nurse back in the day. She never graduated high school. She was actually trained at the hospital she worked for. And she was a great nurse. I'm all for more on the job training. We need this in the work force. But for a nurse to lie to get this job and pay $15,000 for a fake. Man oh man, that's lots of money. And desperation! And to the surprise no deaths in their watch, no one caught them until now. Almost impressive and shocking. Crazy, crazy, crazy!!!

I’m a certified nursing assistant level one and two in North Carolina. I was in nursing school and had to transfer all of my nursing credits so I can go obtain my health care degree in healthcare management and coordination. I ended up going through divorce and I had to go to court for six months straight, so I could not finish my clinicals, this is a real shame. This is extremely scary. I question myself every day. Should I go back to nursing school when I’m finished with my four year degree next year is it really worth it? These fake nurses are eventually going to kill people. I couldn’t imagine being a ‘fake nurse’ on the floor in a hospital passing out medication like candy, and then a patient dies because they were administered the incorrect medication on the MAR.

    to check for fraudulent credentials.
The nursing vocation is generally occupied by people from Africa, the Caribbean Islands and African Americans.
Hence, a pervasive investigatory question may be, who suggested that these individuals engage in fraud?
And compared to the work of nurses from other ethnic groups who committed no fraud, how did the nurses of African ethnicity (who allegedly committed fraud) grade out on their performance evaluations?

Does it REALLY matter??? Look it up! If you’re so curious about it.. what are you going to do? Be a detective and analyze every RN in the US?? Just saying!

@@TheUniqueme1 they already have data but haven't released it all. It does matter because data shows trends that can prevent stuff like this. The operation couldnt of happened without doing the research and analysis of every potential RN or other nurse. You should look up Data Analyst and FBI. It's kind of important to this criminal case.

@@BeautifulButterfly631 what am I implying? Sounds to me like you're the one that is grossly mislead by your intentions. Go look up the definition of demograph and tell me what it means. This is why the internet is so toxic because of the uneducated assumer that starts an unwarranted narrative.

I'd say it's the job of the employer to do its due diligence to find the employees credentials of any professional practice.
Hiring without that can lead to problems but it falls on the employers responsibility. And if they hire them w/o it, they should be liable for any wrong doing that the employees makes or acts on.
