Thank you so much for this detailed video. It helps a lot to make a decision. It is really sad, that you´ve had experienced the same as we did, when wie stayed there in 2014, concerning broken things and dirty rooms; we found cookies, wine gums and a lot of glitter on the floor :( we prefere to stay at Cheyenne. You have enough space with a wheelchair, clean rooms (no carpet!) and a room with a double bed and a sofa/ single bed. Really worth to give it a chance :)

Thank you for taking the time to do this in depth explanation of your stay in sequoia lodge and some of the issues you faced as a wheelchair user!! I will be coming with my two children and my mum this year. My son who is 4 is a wheelchair user however we will be using a typical standard room. We plan to push our beds together (both doubles) to one side of the room so we can store our belongings and wheelchair on the other side. I do hope we find no apple cores! My son with my mum’s help for now could still use a typical bathroom and I am sure we could still “chair wash” him most days anyway! Again thank you so much

Is there something changed in the meantime?

I would recommend the Vienna Magic Circus Hotel. Yes it’s offsite but there is a free wheelchair accessible mini bus taxi which you just request at reception. If you call and speak with them before hand they will do their best to give you a room which meets your needs. We have been upgraded into a mini suite in the past. Also my husband wanted me to point out how his powerchair slipped on the slopes leading down to the Disneyland Park.
