Sequoia lodge, I was there in november 2019 and it was so beautifull and in the dark it felt so cosy and warm because of all the wood. If you like wood and a forest vibe, you will like this hotel very much.
Just spend a weekend with our toddler in the Sequoia Lodge. Absolutely loved it! Great facilities, short walk to the park and the Disney village, and our kid loved the pool! Only downside for me is that most restaurants open for diner at 18h, which is just too late for our child. Other than that great value! Also loved the breakfast with Disney charachters in the park. Awesome experience! What is also important for me is the theming of the Hotel. We don't care too much about Marvel or the Disney Princess characters. Since all the hotels offer character meetups with a select variaty of charachters, this could be something to take into consideration.
Great summary of the hotels! Personally, I've stayed at Cheyenne and Santa Fe so far and while they were both fine, for adults the theming in Cheyenne is just better, while Santa Fe really just felt like a cheap motel. But on a budget, I'd still stay in both again.
Yeah Cheyenne is definitely the more adult friendly of the two, given the Cars theme in Santa Fe. Both good places to shower and sleep though. Thanks for watching! 😃
Going in mid September and staying at Sequoia Lodge... never been to Disney land Paris before so felt it was best mid range hotel that had a little bit of everything!! Since we've two daughters the Bambi theme suits perfectly too 👌 thanks for great video.
Thank you for the video :) I booked my package (hotel+tickets) a few days ago for October and was only considering the Santa Fe hotel since it's the cheapest, but when I checked the prices for all the hotels for my dates the Sequoia Lodge was actually the cheapest option! Then it was the Cheyenne and only after the Santa Fe, which cost 150€ more than SL! So my advice would be to always compare all the options, you might be surprised with the prices :)
My favorit hotel by far is Sequoia Lodge the atmosphere is for me the best there fully relaxed and the nature theming is beautyful. Especially in the colder months in the Red Wood Bar when they have a burning fire in the fireplace it is perfect. But you can not go wrong with any of the hotels
Great video! My opinion is that your choice of hotel should also depend on who you are travelling with. For example, I am a huge fan of Sequoia Lodge. I have been 3 times and next january will be my 4th. Got a really good price for the Lodges. Sequoia is usually my choice when I travel with my husband, but if travelling with my parents (elder people) I go for the Newport which is coziest for them. I do not have kids yet, but in the future I thing I would choose to go the Disneyland Hotel, which comes really in handy with small children.
When going with 2 small children who want to spend every minute in the Parks. There is no time to use any amenities. So why pay extra for them. When you get back to the hotel, get them to bed and have to stay with them, you are so exhausted you just want to sleep yourself before repeating it all again the next day.
Thanks for this, going next year in September likely so the lodge is probably going to be my pick, maybe save the New York hotel for a future Christmas visit and shorter stay when Arendale and the Paris Galaxy’s Edge are ready.
What is closest to the park's Halloween celebrations and decorations? I'm going with a friend in October and want to stay never part that gets decorated like Halloween Town.
Great and helpful video! I have been wondering though, to what extend you actually get to enjoy all the hotel's extras if you want to spend the whole day in the park? Are the sauna, swimming pools etc. open until late at night/do they open early in the morning? Or should you only book a hotel with that many extras if you do not plan on spending the whole day in the park anyway?
Thanks for watching! That's the trade off really. The parks are usually open until late so the pools etc won't stay open for after that. But some people like to spend time in their hotel during the day. If you like being in the parks all day (like us!) then the budget hotels (Cheyenne and Santa Fe) might be better options. It just serves as a place to rest your head for the night.
Oh and there is no more fast pass system in the park. As I said it is becoming a park for the elites. You can get a separate fast pass on line for 20 euros extra quicker now for each main attractions. That means 20 euros to go up ahead in line per attraction. That’s even more then what a staff worker in euro Disney earns per hour. Or you can get a permanent fast pass ticket that covers all the big main attractions. Disney hotel has it already included in there package arrangements.
You made a mistake to say that there is no sauna and steam room in Sequoia, when there is! New Port bay has no sauna and steam room unless I may be wrong? They may have put them in after there renovations. Family wise Sequoia is the most entertaining. New Port Bay has amazing beds when it comes to a good rest. My favorite is of course The Disney hotel, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Before New York meets Marvel, I thought it was then a more related hotel when you don’t have any kids. All and all Euro Disney is a well amusing place to visit. It’s obviously now becoming a park for the elites. The dinner buffets in the park have gone up to almost 70 euros p.p. for a buffet style meal. In Adventure land the buffet is still rather affordable at 37 p.p. All you cn eat buffet. The show this year was absolutely TOP! And we visit Eurodisney once every 3 years.
If there's a sauna and steam room in Sequoia Lodge, we weren't able to find them 😂 perhaps they've been removed in recent years. Newport Bay Club definitely has a sauna and steam room now, not sure about before the refurb!

Agreed 100%. The fireplace is so cosy 🔥
Sequoia Lodge has a sauna and steam room and it also has two restaurants, The Hunters Grill and Beaver Creek Tavern

Any idea when the Disneyland Hotel will be re-opening? Thanks.
There has been no date announced by Disney but we'd expect some time in 2023!
31st December 2022 checked theyre site announced last week

This is what we are going to do going to the Davy Crockett ranch in December and the hotel comes out free... 4 adults and 1 child
