When my Grandma was on deathbed, I went to the local church for a pastor to give her absolution (probably wrong word). And we discussed why I don't go to church when I believe. I believe that god is part of me and probably part of every single person. But you have to have a relationship with him and try to be always better than yesterday

At some point in my life I felt no need to lie at about 12 or 13 but it’s because it was never worth it.I still don’t know how to solve my problems with my own authenticity but I plan to just try and it’s been working so far and I got a date now because of all your advice.But even with your advice it didn’t work.Bow it makes sense because I was just being myself and that’s the only way to even succeed in a relationship of any kind.

I think I disagree on the imitating part. Because, to my understanding, imitation is a form of admiration which can be a force for good self/character development. Now the thing here would be to be mindful of who you choose to imitate and for what reasons.
