Great Review! I just got my Unlimited in Michigan. You hit the nail on the head. Had new boat out a few times. Love It. Anyone in Michigan? Let's go paddling!
you won't be disappointed. I got mine last week and its amazing. still outfitting. almost finished with my scupper mount transducer. built a pwm and have the steering kit on its way to attach to my newport vessels 36lb.
I have on on order as my first kayak. I will be going out on lakes, rivers with my wife in Texas. We are also looking forward to the marshes and flats for reds, trouts, flounders. Do you guys think it will perform offshore???? I am really hoping I can eventually get into some deeper water btb on this boat.
I do not have a KAYAK. I'm very interested, my concerns are in 62 yrs old, 5'6" 345lbs. Do they make kayaks for that size. I mean I got a big gut. Even make PFD for that size?
The nucanoe unlimited or a hobie pa 12/14 would be more then enough for someone your size. There’s a few others that would work too. PFDs they also make big as well. I’d look into an automatic deployment PFD to maximize comfort.
Thanks for the reviews! Being new to kayaks looking for advice. Seems as the local dealers have limited stock on order and all are spoken for. If I order from a brick and mortar wouldn’t get one for 8-12 weeks. Because of accessories and not knowing what I want I’d prefer a local brick and mortar store but I’ve also seen where some online stores have them in stock and can ship immediately. The online stores may be brick and mortar just in another state. Any advise on where and how I should purchase a Nucanoe is appreciated.... should I order online or be patient and order local. I want it for fishing and duck hunting. THANKS
Just waiting on the call to pick mine up as well the openness of the deck is what drew me to the kayak as well but I did get the gear pod for the dry storage for my drone and other things I don't want to get wet and Tackle I bought my first kayak last year a cheap setting lifetime from Walmart to see how much I would like fishing from it and fell in love with it and I'm keeping my light sit-in kayak to get to places that have Hills or hard to get to but I told myself if I get a fishing kayak I will not go without a spot lock trolling motor so I picked one of those up as well good video man 👊👊👊
Hey I'm a big guy too have you been in an f10? Thinking that might do the job or should I just go with the frontier 12? I'm 6'1" 350lbs. Also transport would be easier with the 10 only reason I'm leaning that way. Any thoughts?
I would go with unlimited I was thinking same way f10 easier car top but there trick load heavy kayak. I feel unlimited you have more space and walk around it. F10 is stable for 10 ft I think can’t walk around might feel tips but still stand fishing. Unlimited worth to get more space and very stable and walk around.
Not a surprise that you bought an Unlimited - but awesome nonetheless!!! I have a deposit down for a May (hoping) delivery on the Unlimited - looking forward to it. My first yak purchase.
Have you ever called someone and attempted a conversation with a tv or radio in the background on their end? That's what the music does to your fine videos. Great content, etc. Thanks!

I plan on putting my bow mount on it! Being able to swap back and forth is going to be nice with the 12 and unlimited

I just picked mine up. Love it
Ok. The ultimate is 6 inches longer and 4lb heavier than the frontier 12. Is the deck on the ultimate supposed to be more rigid?
Yes! Because of that tarpon drainage system and the scuppers it will be more rigid for sure!
Man I’m 6’4 280 and can’t decide between this and a PA14. Being able to run this boat tandem with my son , might be the difference.
The tandem option is nice. I also believe it’s easier to mount a motor to the NuCanoe
I want to buy one is it worth the money for my first kayak I’m a large man 6’2 330 pounds
Make sure you get a long paddle.

I’d honestly go big. The F10 has a few shortcomings that the f12 and unlimited do not.

You are gonna love it!
does it track any good? because is a 41 inch vessel...
If you get bow mount xi3 it trackngood lol
Also with that new scupper hole design, the deck will be the most rigid.
I’m just scratching my head at the lack of a skid plate on a 1600 dollar yak?
Most kayaks that do not have skid plates, make those sections the thickest on the boat. So, a skid plate is most likely not necessary.
@@YakFishChris well I ordered one with the xi3 anyways lol. Great lookin kayak.
No skid plate on my frontier and no issues dragging it after a year or so! You won’t be disappointed!
Me too. Can't wait.
great video Chris!!
I have one on order as well!
Good review….just bad audio
Have you ever called someone and attempted a conversation with a tv or radio in the background on their end? That's what the music does to your fine videos. Great content, etc. Thanks!
Sorry my video isn’t to your standard. Plus it was meant to mask my dog making noise as well as an hvac system going on and off.
@@YakFishChris No standard. Your video is great, the music is distracting from your great content that's all.
