honestly watching videos of yourself driving is probably best thing you can possibly do to build your skill and most importantly style and whens the next time youll be in norcal to drift with the bois
devonbennett was going to be up there for New Years Eve, however we couldn't get Hert's s13 running right. I want to make a trip up to the new TH skid pad soon! Or run thunder hill west again!!
Inspirational man. Currently putting together an e30 drift car on my channel and plan on heading to some track days at Grange, Adams, and Willow soon so hope to see you there one of these days!
Likewise, send me a message on Instagram if you are going to an event and I'll see if I can go too. Been trying to get as much seat time as possible. Thanks for the nice comment.
Well put together video! I like the track too. As an Australian it's kinda of surprising to see tracks like this in America after mainly watching FD lol
Thanks! I really like Grange, it's a go kart track and I find that the best tracks for drifting in America are kart tracks because they're usually tight, technical, and don't require too much power. FD really sticks to the BIG road courses and ovals (very american) - so I can see how seeing something like this would be very different. Check out the Final Bout 2 video we made to see US Air kart track, would love to drift there one day: ua-cam.com/video/PfODykKzmIY/v-deo.html
I think straightening and reinitiating before the left hander like in run 4 lets you carry more speed through the second section, and looks more exciting. Trade offs for running with lower power I suppose. More of these videos, please
Thanks Chris, nice to have another set of eyes on it and appreciate your comment. I'm working on an S Chassis Steering angle video at the moment - comparing tie rod spacers, grinding down the bump stops and finally adding knuckles to get more angle. If there is any other types of videos you would like to see - let me know! Will hopefully be back on track with more drifting and eventually a turbo setup on this car.
Keep Drifting Fun have you decided what knuckles to run yet? I’ve got the pbm trailing spindle knuckles on my s14, on my previous car I just had modified stock knuckles and extended lca. I wanted to try a full off the shelf kit to see how it all worked together. Also, the guys at villains are designing a front knuckle that uses the rear wheel bearing hub re purposed in the front the car. Neat stuff! Looking forward to your angle video, I have a feeling your going to have to pull your front fenders pretty good haha
Curtis Chornohos I installed the Heat Maker knuckles and extended LCA's on my other 14. It has d-max front and rear fenders so that helped with the clearance. For the purple car, going to run Naoki Nakamura B Knuckles - no extended LCA. No roll center adjustment. Fenders are rolled with a really small pull now. Might have to pull a lot or switch them out for some wider fiberglass ones. I love what the villains guys are doing - the 350z axle stub adapters are dope. Might end up on those one day with the higher powered KA-t setup.
Don't you want to keep some kind of bump stop? To keep the rack from "over rotating" and blowing? Also, come to AZ, we got Musselman circuit, a go kart track!
Actually mounted! It's a triple gauge pod, made by glow shift of all people I think. Bit of a tight fit and stresses the factory radio surround bezel pretty hard. Otherwise I love the location of them, because I had a steering column double pod in my other s14 and always thought it looked kind of tacky. I like the discret/low key style.
lilman I would really like to get out and travel to some new ones. The plan is to turbocharge this KA24de - feel it out on some of the tracks I've driven so far - like Grange. Any suggestions on tracks I should visit!?
Keep Drifting Fun im in a rural area of Mississippi where every road can be a drift track, so i cant suggest any. Ive only seen videos and they never really say the tracks name. I like the idea of turbo charging the motor. I was thinking during the video the car needed a little more power. I also have another question. Will you and hurt do a tandem donut/drift train in the future, because I know he's got a car like yours.
Appreciate the response! He does have a car like mine now too. We need to get some tandem practice in soon. His s13 has a spun rod bearing so we just swapped the engine and have been sorting out the kinks (I think it needs a new distributor)
Keep Drifting Fun by the way, other than hoonigans i think you just became part of my top 10 youtubers and cant wait for future content. And just so you know ill be waiting on the tandems. Also tell hurt hes my favorite hoonigan other than ken block. Keep up the content my friend. Hope you get it fixed.
This is awesome Will!
ben tranter thanks Ben. Glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah that track looks fantastic! Unfortunately drifters aren't allowed on Go-Kart tracks in Australia :(
nico179 NOOOO!! That's terrible to hear.

I'm interested in all this.

All great stuff Will !
Hey thanks as always for commenting and the support on the videos.
I don't drift but it seems like the lack of power at low rpms makes it a lot harder
Are your gauges actually mounted under the radio or are they just chillin in the pocket? Wondering because I'm going to be running a similar setup

Awesome! I'm gonna look into that! Thanks Will
Will you be running different tracks?
