This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. The anxiety struggle is real and I definitely like knowing exactly what to expect. Thank you!
Been thru it. It was ok. Expensive
What a beautiful video. I feel calm just by watching this. Much luck to you.
Love it! I suffer from anxiety too! TY
Your voice is so calm, thanks for the info and I’m glad you found the courage to get out lol safe travels.
I’m so happy for you. I know the struggle. Your videos give me conform.
Slot machines at the airport lol. I had the same anxiety issue too. I stayed in the house for years. I love seeing where I am going before I get there. I found a balance the last few years and now I get out to see the world! Never give up because it can always change! I definitely need to get out to Vegas one of these years! 🙂
My boss is scheduled to go Vegas soon for his vacation.....damn! talk about jealous :)
The first time I flew to Las Vegas (which was about 6 years ago) it was a bit overwhelming trying to figure out where to go (I was being picked up by one of the local hotel's shuttle service at the time, which no longer seems to be a thing -- at least for free). Anyway, just follow the signs as they are pretty well laid out and you can figure out where to go. It's not as obvious if you're trying to get to the rental car center though (which requires a ride on the shuttle bus, which is outside of the baggage claim area -- that part isn't exactly clear, although once you do it, you remember). For me, I didn't necessarily have to see where I was going ahead of time, although with large airports like Chicago's O'Hare it is helpful because that airport can become confusing (LAS isn't that confusing really, as there are only two terminals for passenger flights departures/arrivals: T1 and T3, unlike ones like Chicago that have 5 terminals, 4 of which are domestic but at different areas of the airport, and the newer terminal 5 at O'hare is it's own building basically).
I get a anxiety too but jeeez. I look forward to the unknown when I go to new places. Especially places like this that are designed for nothing buy fun. Relax people... lol
Thank you! I’m 17 traveling alone and I have a 5 hour layover in this airport, but this helps my anxiety 😊
Congrats on conquering your fears Jennifer! I always had a fear of flying and I conquered that fear with my first flight to Las Vegas. Actually I flew to Florida first time but I was with a group of people and had to drink tequila before to even get on the plane. The tequila didn't help only to get me in my seat. Thank goodness it was only a 2 hour flight. I flew to Las Vegas myself with no tequila at all. Now it is no problem for me to travel by air. It was McCarran when I was at the Las Vegas airport but from what I remember looks pretty much the same as most airports do for the most part. It is good to get to the airport early like you said as it makes for a lot less stress. I didn't play the slots at the airport as I hear they have lousy payout rates. I flew to Las Vegas twice and hope to do it again very soon. The three Las Vegas casinos I stayed at were Mandalay Bay my first time and then both Treasure Island and Red Rock my second time to Vegas. Both times I traveled solo and glad to hear you were brave enough to fly solo to Las Vegas as well. Flights to Las Vegas always seem like a lot of fun on the plane. Lots of high energy and good luck feelings. Trips home made for sleeping at least for me as I always took the red eyes home. I did not eat at the Vegas airport but had a really good meal at Philadelphia airport my first trip to Las Vegas due to a flight delay caused by weather. I had great airport experiences on both my trips to Las Vegas. Thanks for bringing back the memories.
Great Video ! Did you ride the Brightline Rail at Orlando ? When are they going to connect the LV Monorail to the Airport and the new Brightline Station ? tjl
Thanks for this, Jennifer, I found it very, very helpful. Is the Village Pub on this level?
It’s international terminal, I need to check in border checkpoint if I fly domestic?
What happened to Mccarran?
I'm flying there on June 7 😂 only God knows how excited I am
Leaving to mexico tomorrow and have to go to terminal 3 to the volaris counter
Does the seating area has a charging stations, something to charge your phone and tablets?
