  • Join me as I depart from Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport out of the D Gates in Terminal 3!
I ride the monorail to my gate, play some slot machines, and grab a bite to eat. I hope this video eases any anxiety you may have from going through their Innovation Security Checkpoint to finding your gate!
I made the mistake when I landed here to go to the wrong baggage claim, so keep in mind that Terminal 3 has it's own baggage claim and Terminal 1 has a separate one. If you make the same mistake, no worries, you can just take the free shuttle bus that takes you right over to the correct baggage claim! (They've thought of it all!)
If you want to see what Terminal 1 is like, be sure to check out this video here...
    • Quick POV Tour & Tips ...
    Check In Process...
They have machines everywhere with access to all airlines. Use these kiosks to check in so you can skip the bigger of the check in lines and go right to bag drop.
    Security...
The line moves really fast here. They have a bunch of security lines and plenty of security machines. You place your things in bins and then push them onto the conveyor belt which takes them through security. You may end up in the Innovation Checkpoint which may be a bit different, but it still moves quickly as well! Feel free to walk around the confused people to an open bin slot. Once you are through security, you will be surrounded by slot machines.
    Food Highlights...
There's a ton of food here like Burger King, Pizza, Chili's, Ruby's is open 24/7, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, AND they offer Drinks in to go cups so you can drink at your gate!
    Shopping...
Tons of shopping including Duty Free too.
    General Feel...
There's a mix of people being tired and ready to leave to head back home VS people who just landed and are excited to explore.
    Restrooms...
There's plenty of restrooms, you shouldn't have any issues with long lines.
Location... ( It's located right off The Strip behind Mandalay Bay. )
Luxor - 10 minute cab ride
Old Downtown or Stratosphere - 20 minute cab right
    Thanks for watching!

Very enjoyable video. I've been doing Las Vegas twice yearly since 1970 and I think it's the food and entertainment center of the world. As you get past the Grand Canyon the excitement really starts to build.

It’s a good airport but I’ve personally had a few delays here. Not sure why.
