What an inspiration! You motivated me to continue a build I'm working on. It's an operator's access ladder to a very old CAT 980 loader that my school's Diesel Mechanic's Program rescued from the scrapyard. By comparison, it's a lot more simple and requires MUCH less precision than what you're working on. Much respect for your efforts. With the sander, you can hook up a vacuum hose and use a shop vacuum with a drywall bag. It cuts down (but doesn't eliminate) on some of the dust.

Great to hear that you are getting back on your project again! Sounds like you have plenty of skills yourself! Great tip on using the shopvac to hook up to the sander. Why didn’t I think of that 😀. Please continue to give feedback as I always learn from guys like yourself every day! I’ll give it a try and let you know how it goes !
