Great report. IIRC, only a unit or group of units that fail an order test can take advantage of the free move in column, not every unit that still hasn't moved.
Thanks very much. Your totally right, i think i mention in another report its just a house rule we use to keep the game moving when we only have a couple of brigades to stop it stalling 😁👍 its so soul destroying when it happens haha

Another excellent report. Glad I’ve found these to get my interest back in BP. The only thing I’d have done differently in the last allied turn would have fired the square and Jaegers at the cuirassasiers (might have stopped the charge) but didn’t affect the result. Maybe even swivelled the guns against them 😁
Great video - enjoyed it as always. You need to get Hayley throwing dice at a Casino! Coupe of points about the gameplay, a unit in combat can't remove disorder and you can't rally a disordered unit or one that has moved. I think the Scots Greys were robbed against the Guards. Thanks again. Garry
Thanks very much 👍 glad you enjoyed it. Completely over looked the disorder and combat as well as the diaorder and the rally however i cant find a reference for the commander being unable to rally a unit that has moved? It would have been very cinematic if the guard had lost at that point, the Greys did so well 😃
Just a quick one :) In Voltigeurs the g is pronouced like a j (minus the d sound at the beginning). Thanks for your vids, I'm a true fan ! Cheers from Quebec !
Fantastic game....I love to see a large scale battle that extends into a few days...Also, do you have any Saxon or German troops? Like Baden or Wurtemburg?

Once things are open maybe, that would be great 👍 I haven't done any Hermans except the kings german legion and Hanoverians, i would like to do some though, another project haha
This game is super cool I’ve just ordered a French infantry regiment so hopefully I get that soon but I will try to get some British troops and artillery/cavalry.
For a solid British brigade I'd recommend 2 or 3 battalions of standard infantry, a small unit of skirmishers like the 95th rifles and maybe a cannon battery in support. You'd need commander as well for the brigade. This would be more than enough to start gaming with 👍
Thanks mate , definitely more WOTR coming, we actually had a game sorted for the weekend after lockdown began so that will be happening, just a little later than planned 👍
Ah, is that when they attacked the old guard? We decided that the battalions that are in a zone are assumed to be defending along it and occupying the whole area so don't have facings, seemed to work well... For me anyway 😉
Escuse me, I have a question about BP rules: How many models do you need to represent a skirmisher unit? 95th rifles, for example. Specifically if you base them individually in 20mm bases. Ty so much!
Hi, no problem 👍 well it depends on the size of unit your depicting as BP has 3 different sizes for units. So you could have a rifle section, company or battalion, (tiny, small ans medium units). For Tiny units i use 4 models, for small 5 - 12 and for medium or standard i use 24, hope that helps
This reminds me of Houghton, moreover, Napoleon should have considered to surround it and keep the British bottle up there and stay out of rifle range, but by pass the fortress.
