How to combo with Makoto: I can't combo with any character... So. I don't know.

this was more entertaining than any of the other makoto TAS playthroughs i've seen. it seemed like when you felt like it you would play with your opponent lol.

That last combo was pretty amazing.
Awesome stuff as usual. Would love to eventually see a Yun playthrough with incredibly long and pointless Genei Jin combos (along with the more stylish stuff like Kara Palms and Maeda/Keeper Jins). Or perhaps some crazy offensive Q with SAII?

Can someone please tell me how you make that hiya sound with makoto at the end of the round? I would greatly appreciate it if anyone tell me how.
@speedsense13 But the rate of attack for that Super Arts is insane. 20+ hits in a matter of seconds.
Maybe it's possible in the next TAS to show what it's like to see it get parried?
It means he used savestates, slowdowns, rewinds, etc.

Is it actually possible to parry Gill's super? The one where he floats to the middle of the screen with wings.
@thechap82 Yeah, its possible to parry anything in SF3.

for some reason in ocidental SF releases the name was changed to akuma(demon)
Not at all. He does a couple of things that kill his rank.
1: Whiffed attacks. You lose hit% grade for missing an attack.
2: Lack of super art finish (if you kill someone with SA2 followup hits, it counts only as a super art, not a super art finish)
3: You must stun every round. This has the bonus of increasing the # of hits in a combo.
4: Walking backwards I believe affects your offense rating.

Does doing Makoto's taunt strengthen her attacks are something? Because it seemed like that when you were against Gouki.
Gouki is very advantaged on this game, the weakness is his low stamina
This is a too assisted speed run so what parts were tool assisted? Seems like this is the way the game should be played.
This is a TAS? Seems like every Makoto i fight online is secretly using Tool Assist...

@iVoiceActors Gill's AI is just a 10 year old pressing buttons. He's only a hard boss because all of his attacks have incredible priority and many of them can't even be punished. =(
All makoto needs is a single inch
M.S.F = Master Street Fighter. Best grade in the game. Only accessible through cheating haha

KurwaRomek Best I can do is an SS+ but you have to be pretty good at parries and dealing damage
Best I ever came up with was an S I think, double perfect in less than 20 sec each, a few parries, only combos, a bunch of ex moves and 2 super art finishes + I stunned the opponent twice. I don't know what can be better than that really :p
P.S. I'm a strictly Ryu player.
KurwaRomek Ahh good stuff, and Ryu does pretty good stun. Can't help but get pissed off when fighting a Ryu player on Fightcade, still not as bad as Urien or Akuma -.-

yeah well I actually play on my PC with a bunch of friends; I guess I never annoyed you then. Who do you play with? I like Ryu because he's versatile. He's a defensive monster (Sho Ryu Ken is the best anti-air in the game and it has ridiculous priority) but you can rush out opponents as well, in a more effective manner than Ken or Akuma (less hits but more damage and stun).
And more than anything I'm too lazy to learn how to play the other blokes lol :p

is it just me or does taunting make your supers OP?
Plasma Kirby that actually is a mechanic that’s in the game. Granted not all taunts are equal as each character’s taunt has different benefits but your assumption is correct.
