Your skin is clearing up. Coco butter is known for helping hyperpigmentation. Rentinol are good for the skin too.
Iv always wanted to try retinol but I heard that your skin gets worse before you see results. It definitely on my bucket list!

I use Retin A and I can the you for free...AMAZING STUFF! Yes it will make your face worse for about a month or two, then it gets better. To help reduce the effect, use a skin friendly oil.

@@ann-marie808 A skincare store in Lagos, Nigeria. The peeling is normal. You can tone it down by applying an oil based serum five minutes after applying Retin.

I love Palmer’s cocoa butter especially whilst my skin is slightly wet or damp, it absorbs beautifully and keeps the skin well moisturised. It’s really good. I only use it on my body but I’ll also try on my face and see how it works
How’d it work on your face?
Your skin is GLOWING!!! I have such sensitive skin and nearly every type of moisturizer dries me out or causes a breakout and I have LOVED using cocoa butter! I think I’ll be using this for a very long time. I love how easily you can apply makeup too, it’s not too heavy!

Finally I found someone down to Earth struggling with hyperpigmentation! Usually people try to cover it up but I’m so happy you are trying things to rid it. I’m definitely trying this and the Kojic soap 🤗

Been using this for years and it's amazinggg. I made the mistake of using too many products in my teens and always struggled with acne/dry skin. I recommend only using it while your face is still wet, right after your usual night time routine. My skin is super sensitive and surprisingly this stuff has never caused any irritation or break outs.
Did you use anything else while your face was clearing up?

This butter is really good!!! I’ve tried a lot of products on my face since I have hyperpigmentation and this is the only one that worked. And I get a lot of compliments when I use this. In addition it gives your skin a glow and and smells so great

Your face definitely looks more vibrant than before. And your natural hair is so beautiful. I use this on my skin and just used some in my hair. My scalp feels good and doesn't itch like it does with Shea butter. Keep using it and stay Beautiful Sis!!!!

To avoid coco butter cream from clogging your pores...make sure you apply it when you skin hydrated..normally right after you tone & applied your cleanser.

I’ve been useing it for about 4 days so far and it has been working good and it’s super moisturizing if you have dry skin.
Congrats on 50K subs!! Yeah, I use and love this stuff for my body -- although it is slick and I fell out of my tongs walking up stairs since I put it on my feet -- but would be too afraid to put it on my face... it seems too thick, like it would clog my pores, but glad you found it helpful!
Thank you! That story lol! I can’t wait to try it on my body again. My skin is really dry so I wouldn’t worry about it clogging my pores much. But I will take extra care during summer by using less. They also have a liquid version 😊

I cant use Palmer’s on my face. It has mineral oil and this causes break outs for me.
Isn't mineral oil on the list of ingredients to be wary of?
Omg your face looks so much different i can how clear it looks. my skin has acne and dark marks left from horrable spots i did you on my young childhood and i had great skin maybe i shudnt have stopped i used on my body too. Now ive tuned to your video as this was the nicest one I couod find thanks you im know going purcahse it and use it if in 3 days you can see a difference as if vise versa wen u get allergy to something ne this cream is no joke it is genuine and does work i can almost see that your skin looks so smooth on camara and clear . I like how you showed all the days and how you felt about the cream working on your skin but i will try this next cerave is what im using right now it didnt get rid if nothing it just gives hydration for a little while. *can you do a shea butter trial for 5 days please and i think you should do 7 day trials cos 7 days gives the product a full week to work but all the natural products work the best*
Use the palmers coco butter stick. It doesn’t clog your pores like the jar. And clears your skin and hyperpigmentation better. All the best🥰

The stick says for lips. I wanted to get tht but wasn't for sure if they meant lips only!!! So I didn't get it
Maybe an exfoliator or scrub over the areas of pigmentation & then apply the coco butter. I would think opening up your pores first & then applying the coco butter or tumeric paste. Your skin looked really good! Beautiful eyes

Palmers gave me a rash when I was 13 12 years later it is still visible so I will just get natural coco butter again because whatever they use in it scared me forever

I think you have PD. I have that same discoloration around my mouth and it’s PD. The hyperpigmentation isn’t real hyperpigmentation it’s a rash. It can fade but it can go away in 24 hrs with the right moisturizer. I only got it to go away in 24 hrs when I went to a dermatologist. But I’m dealing with it right now around my mouth. I’m trying to find my own moisturizer cure, so if I’m successful I’ll comment back and let you know.
Thank your for this information because even though my eczema has cleared up I still have a rash around my mouth. It may be PD! Let me know if you have any luck with finding a good moisturiser

I have terribly sensitive skin and every moisturizer stings but I found cocoa butter for $5 at Walmart and I have never looked back. No pain, great for fighting my flakey skin, love love loooove.

i love this stuff! i didnt have enough to keep buying curology so my skin went into withdrawl and this gave me my skin back! i mix it with the moisturizer from curology in my hand and it acts as a sealant to keep the cocoa from smearing off later and absorb faster. i found without the sealant my skin becomes much dryer faster but still not dry. definitely lasts longer with a sealant moisturizer***
my makeup applies like a dream after too so i tend to use it as a type of primer too.

Your hair is gorgeous! You should have used a little more product and smaller sections. The smaller the twist, the smaller the curl. You also need to do it a little bit tighter. My hair is similar to yours

You need to use diatomaceous earth (food grade) mix it with a glass of water then grafually increase your intake, plus use it as a facial ( mix it with water into a thick paste) leave it for an hour, it'll get rid of all your imperfections then apply cocoa butter and leave on over night. Watch in 2 weeks 😉 research on UA-cam plenty of info just not widely known

This stuff is really good. I don't have eczema and i use this as a lip balm.
Its so cost efficient if you use it as a lip balm, cause you get such a big tub for such a small price, and if you look at the quantity, lip balms have very little product if compared to their price. So this is a very good alternative if u wanna save some money.
And ofcourse i don't carry the whole tub with me i transfer a little product to a small old lip blam container!

Am dark skinned and I have discoloration on my body. am planing to make coco butter my daily moisturizer, but I have a sensitive skin and I don't know if it will help even out my skin?

I’m dark skinned as well with sensitive skin and it worked for me! It got rid of my hyper pigmentation on my neck completely in one month. I had marks on my legs from very old mosquito bites and it fading after 3mths. Just test it on your arm to see how it works.

Hi a friend of mine recommend this when I was a young adult & I’ve been using it forever so I 100% agree :) Now I never thought about using it on my face tho, which brings me to my question to you.
Now I’ve been so lucky to have had clear amazing skin all my life (minus puberty age when I had some minor hiccups of pimples but generally I’ve been so lucky). On my older years tho I developed some allergy & I believe I have eczema on my left eye lid & a little under my right eye.
No I won’t put it near my eyes of course but will give this a go on those areas. I just wanted to know if cocoa butter (Palmers) work on your eczema? Thx in advance.
Try Eucerin especially for your eczema . You can also try a small amount of palmers to see if it works also . How products works always vary from person to person

I’m going to be using this every day. So I’ll share my progress for those who are interested in my results.
Before using: I have some acne on my forehead with dry skin around my cheeks and nose. As well as some dark spots. My skin isn’t glowy.
Just applied it, going to sleep and waiting for results in the morning (unlikely to be a change but still, need to document every day)
Day 1: no difference
Day 2: flaky skin is gone! My skin doesn’t have dead skin and feels a bit more moisturised.
Day 3: skin looks slightly glowy
Day 4: my skin looks way clearer and glowing. But I’ve noticed some new blackheads on my forehead
Day 5: no improvements from day 4
