Your armpits are so clear omg I'm jealous. I found by accident that lemongrass essential oil and coconut oil (which makes a natural mosquito repellent) also fades scars. I also made a great salve for my summer eczema consisting of Heliochrysm, comfrey, calendula oils, vitamin e and coconut oil. It's expensive to make but proved very effective for rashes and scarring.
Hi Dr. Dina, i hope you read this. i’m late to the party lmao. i have struggled with dark spots/scabs on my legs and was so insecure about wearing shorts, dresses, skirts, and swimsuits since i was six years old. as i grew up, they became worse and my skin was super dry and flaky. i’m now in my late teens/early twenties and i still struggle with it. i came across your video and was skeptical about every product simply because nothing has ever worked for me. with doubt, i still took your advice. i stopped taking extremely hot showers and i got every product in your video. i even made the oil concoction and i use it daily along with the lotion. it has been five days since doing your routine and i am already noticing how soft, glowy, and the decrease of my dark spots on my legs. i cannot thank you enough. i am feeling confident that the new routine and oils help my skin. all my life i struggled to find something that works and i now finally found it. to whomever reads this, please take this woman’s advice and copy her routine. it works, truly.
UPDATE: it’s been a month and along with the oil concoction, i have been using turmeric and kojic acid soap! i still have the dark spots but most of them have faded immensely !!
So y'all... My inner thighs are so dark they're like purple! I bought ground turmeric, olive oil, baking soda, a cup of Siggi's plain yogurt, and manuka raw honey. The yogurt really made it pasty. I put it on my thighs at 2 in the morning and slept at 2:30am. I woke up at 10:30am, used my brown sugar and olive oil scrub to get rid of the dry pieces and rinsed... And then I realized... Where did it go?!?!?! The dark spot, the length of my hand... Was GONE y'all GONE!!!! I think this should be sold in beauty care somewhere. I literally just eyeballed everything. I got a medium size cereal bowl and filled it about half way with turmeric. Then I added half as much baking soda. I added a lot of olive oil, enough to saturate thoroughly all the dry turmeric. Then the manuka honey, the one I have is an 8 oz container so even if it looks like you used a lot you always have more when it settles, so about 1/3. And then last but not least a cup of Siggi's plain yogurt. I am a fan of all their flavors but that one, too plain, so it's perfect for concoctions! The yogurt really makes it into a perfect batter, not too runny but like a pliable clay. I know this was not asked for, but I also applied it to my bits and my purple labia and surprisingly they are a shade lighter. Slower than the rest but definitely shows improvement!

I have mild HS, and had terrible scarring and hyperpigmentation. Laser hair removal has helped immensely, and also, I noticed, if I use Castor Oil in the areas I break out the most it helps with the inflammation. I also use products with mandelic acid...and Dr. is soooo right...you need consistency and patience. My skin has improved but it's been about a year and I am still fighting some scarring but it's way better than before. I'm going to try to make the butter and see how that works for me.
I just found you and I’m so happy. I have an obsession with skin care (opinion of my husband) and it’s nice to see someone with the same interests. I got started 15 years ago when baby magic gave my newborn daughter an awful rash. Now my 10 year old son has skin problems but I’ve just found that it’s from something internal “Dairy” so now I’m starting a diet obsession. Keep doing what you’re doing. Stay Blessed 🙏

Omg...I usually don't make comments on UA-cam videos, but after watching your video and thinking of my own experience, I have to say something. I was diagnosed with HS probably over 15 years ago, and at the time it seemed as if I was the only one with this disorder. From my research, it was only about 2% of the population diagnosed with this. I felt so alone, and embarrassed. To see all the comments on here, and how many people like myself who has this makes me feel less alone. My journey with HS has been like a roller coaster. I've had it so bad where I was in so much pain that I had to go to the doctor. This has caused so much emotional ups and downs and insecurities, especially being in relationships. I must say when I did exercise, lose weight and started eating properly, I didn't get flare ups for years. I thought I had everything under control until recently, which I'm assuming could be due to stress, and weight gain during this pandemic. Thank you so much for this video and allowing us into your journey, and thanks for tips. I will definitely be saving this video. God Bless you.

I'm on my dad's phone .... But omg I am a Latin girl that grew up around white people and I did not have the skin like other girls I was around. I finally just gave up. Being a competitive cheerleader in high school and college I just seemed to accept that I was the only girl with dark scars for every little boo boo, zit, cut, or scrap in my life. The tea tree oil is not only antiviral, antifungal but also antibacterial. I use it on my scars. I once burned my arm badly and used tea tree oil on it while healing and I have NO scar at all! Thank you for all your sage advice it was very informative and thorough. 🥰

Stridex acne pads helps with this. I actually don’t even wear deodorant any longer. I just swipe my pits with the pad. Also, if you can get laser hair removal. I’ve gotten all my body hair removed. No more scar, hair bumps or new scars.

I whipped my body butter with my hand mixer and it works wonderful!!! After I put it in the freezer for about 30 min., I took it out let it thaw for 5 to 7 minutes, then mixed for 10 minutes. Scooped it out, put it in my mason jar and it has worked wonders!
Mrs Aye' I don’t think so. The most time consuming part was mixing it long enough so the air would mix through it to make it whipped. It was literally 10 minutes that I was holding that mixer! LOL!!! It’s been worth it, however. My god brother wants me to make him some, now. I would use my opposite hand to scrape down the sides so everything would evenly whip. Hope that helps. Mrs Aye' Wow! You just taught me something! Thank you! I just mix my egg whites in my favorite mixing bowl which happens to be a tempered glass. Never knew that about plastics and egg whites. For the record, I used this same tempered glass mixing bowl to make my whipped body butter. It’s old and chipped at the edges, but it gets the job done and done right. Upped my kitchen game a bit .🙂 I was hoping to find a deodorant that is extremely gentle for delicate under arms, that won't cause discoloration. Nothing so far. I think we might have to make our own. That's another thing to whip up in the kitchen! If you are aware of an existing product, please let me know.

Great information but I’m overwhelmed. What do I start with?
I have mild HS, and had terrible scarring and hyperpigmentation. Laser hair removal has helped immensely, and also, I noticed, if I use Castor Oil in the areas I break out the most it helps with the inflammation. I also use products with mandelic acid...and Dr. is soooo right...you need consistency and patience. My skin has improved but it's been about a year and I am still fighting some scarring but it's way better than before. I'm going to try to make the butter and see how that works for me.

I just found you and I’m so happy. I have an obsession with skin care (opinion of my husband) and it’s nice to see someone with the same interests. I got started 15 years ago when baby magic gave my newborn daughter an awful rash. Now my 10 year old son has skin problems but I’ve just found that it’s from something internal “Dairy” so now I’m starting a diet obsession. Keep doing what you’re doing. Stay Blessed 🙏

Omg...I usually don't make comments on UA-cam videos, but after watching your video and thinking of my own experience, I have to say something. I was diagnosed with HS probably over 15 years ago, and at the time it seemed as if I was the only one with this disorder. From my research, it was only about 2% of the population diagnosed with this. I felt so alone, and embarrassed. To see all the comments on here, and how many people like myself who has this makes me feel less alone. My journey with HS has been like a roller coaster. I've had it so bad where I was in so much pain that I had to go to the doctor. This has caused so much emotional ups and downs and insecurities, especially being in relationships. I must say when I did exercise, lose weight and started eating properly, I didn't get flare ups for years. I thought I had everything under control until recently, which I'm assuming could be due to stress, and weight gain during this pandemic. Thank you so much for this video and allowing us into your journey, and thanks for tips. I will definitely be saving this video. God Bless you.

I'm on my dad's phone .... But omg I am a Latin girl that grew up around white people and I did not have the skin like other girls I was around. I finally just gave up. Being a competitive cheerleader in high school and college I just seemed to accept that I was the only girl with dark scars for every little boo boo, zit, cut, or scrap in my life. Now being a woman in her mid 30s I cry to put on dresses or skin showing outfits. I almost started crying with all this knowledge I'm going to try once I get enough money for it. But some I already have in the house. I'm so excited to not have to cover myself up and be sweating in florida. Thank u!

The tea tree oil is not only antiviral, antifungal but also antibacterial. I use it on my scars. I once burned my arm badly and used tea tree oil on it while healing and I have NO scar at all! Thank you for all your sage advice it was very informative and thorough. 🥰

Stridex acne pads helps with this. I actually don’t even wear deodorant any longer. I just swipe my pits with the pad. Also, if you can get laser hair removal. I’ve gotten all my body hair removed. No more scar, hair bumps or new scars.

I whipped my body butter with my hand mixer and it works wonderful!!! After I put it in the freezer for about 30 min., I took it out let it thaw for 5 to 7 minutes, then mixed for 10 minutes. Scooped it out, put it in my mason jar and it has worked wonders!

Mrs Aye' I don’t think so. The most time consuming part was mixing it long enough so the air would mix through it to make it whipped. It was literally 10 minutes that I was holding that mixer! LOL!!! It’s been worth it, however. My god brother wants me to make him some, now. I would use my opposite hand to scrape down the sides so everything would evenly whip. Hope that helps. Mrs Aye' Wow! You just taught me something! Thank you! I just mix my egg whites in my favorite mixing bowl which happens to be a tempered glass. Never knew that about plastics and egg whites. For the record, I used this same tempered glass mixing bowl to make my whipped body butter. It’s old and chipped at the edges, but it gets the job done and done right. Praise God for you and your question! Thank you!

Upped my kitchen game a bit .🙂 I was hoping to find a deodorant that is extremely gentle for delicate under arms, that won't cause discoloration. Nothing so far. I think we might have to make our own. That's another thing to whip up in the kitchen! If you are aware of an existing product, please let me know.
