My personal opinion from my 2015 V60 D4 AT. The chassis can't really cope with more torque than 400nm ont the front axle (and I had 235/40R18 tires). And the range was 1200km when driving normally and 1400 when driving more economically. I could get around 75 liters in the tank. I currently drive a XC40 D4 AWD and it feels a bit slower than my V60 did. With the automatic it holds it back in the first 2 gears. But it does hold the road better with its 245/40R20 tires with Michelin pilot sport 4 tires. Soon it will be the T6 hybrid, but that is limited to 180 kph.
Never thought I would see this car here. My first car 9 years ago was a Volvo V40 D4 r-design. With all facts on hand, it way too expensive as a first car at that time. A full tank gave u almost 2 months of driving. Wasn't interested in cars back then but it is a really good car for just daily use, especially if had the opportunity to have it tuned by Polestar. Peak power should be around 4000 rpm, that‘s why it‘s a bit sluggish above that. But 7.2s to 100 seems realistic. A V70 with the 215hp D5 engine needs 7.8s. The V70 may be heavier, but also has more torque. So in my opinion this car has legit 240+ hp.
