I like the format and great quality of this channel. I'd be happy for my kids to watch this if I had any. Otherwise, I watched for the Pill bug. And was very interested to learn they are actually land crustaceans! And that there are land crustaceans! I've always been struck by how similar sea crustaceans are to many bugs (vice versa). And including arachnids. I've always thought crabs and spiders are fairly similar, mostly in their form and scuttling manner. I was surprised though to also learn that spiders have "book lungs", which as far as I understand are a lot like the "book gills" of crabs.

Giant isopods or just isopods in general would be a better option for comparison
Fun fact (I guess) - The reason why pill bugs look like hyper mini versions of giant isopods is because they're actually closely related. They also breathe through the exact same way as a giant isopod - through gills

Putting this here in the hope you may see this OAS. I would LOVE to see a video about the specimen dye process. I was watching a video you posted a while ago about things like seahorses and lizards and turtles and I understand the basic dye process the single color like with the seahorse. But I am absolutely confounded on how they get the intricate multi color dyes in specimens in very delicate exacting areas. Especially because the way you summarized it made me think they are just dipping the specimens completely in various solutions to get the desired effects. This can't be completely true with those multi dyed specimens. I would love to learn more if you are so inclined at any point!
Thank you for reading/considering! It seems like an interesting subject of focus!

One day when I was in elementary school I was out at recess when I found a roly-poly. Some of my friends came over and we played with the roly poly. We let it crawl on our hands and we identified it as a female. we even gave the roly-poly a name which I forget, but after a while one of us dropped it into the grass and we were sad. We looked for more roly-poly‘s, but we couldn’t find any before it was time to go inside. I found it very interesting and I was glad I got to see its gills. I knew that roly-poly‘s were crustaceans before I watched this video.
