I love this calm "kid friendly education" video style of yours
It's so calming and just makes everything way more digestible
I love this channel for kids, and even I am learning things!! 👍😊 🦋
Fr this should be on PBS Kids or smthg
I feel he is the nature version of Mr Rogers. His delivery is excellent.
It’s very relaxing and nostalgic, I love it
" Sometimes, I also wonder if I'm happy. " - 4:30
This line hit hard.
the fact that you can somehow go from “what’s inside this thing” to “if you’re not okay, i can help by leading you to this” is amazing.
Betterhelp is a scam, so please don’t use it.
bro he literally made it up for the ad... cmon don't be so naive. Of course he's gonna say something heart wrenching to play on people's emotions... They've been doing that with advertisements for decades now
@@quistador7 people make up things all the time, m’kay? :>
_i get it._
me and my boyfriend watch your videos every night and then when we get sleepy, we sleep to your videos
Hi baby
@@oscarolivaresjr9531ewww 🙄🦷🦷🦷
@@roxanaGonzalez-Jimenez-je8bm lol you sound like one of their little siblings
You're not curious enough then. I have to fall asleep to the same show I've watched 500 times bc I love to learn, I couldn't sleep when there's shit to be learnt.
Ps it's my bf and I*
Just a hard read when you're top comment for some reason.
🏳️🌈️⃠TFD 😊
I love this channel. I just found you. You have no idea how you are taking all us grown folks back to a safe place, bringing back core memories of staying home from school getting to watch those shows on pbs that were so soothing. ❤ never stop doing this. Its needed.
Amen🌵🐜🦆
This video takes me back to 1988 watching Mr. Rogers, learning stuff with peaceful music and a calm voice.
Near from where I live there's a feeding place for vultures and I always see them flying like that in the distance. Cool to see.
cool! I love vultures, but there aren't any in my country sadly
You were the one that made me want to be an entomologist, I love watching your videos and I had a weird fascination with your videos about insects and arachnids and then I started researching about bugs and know I’m studying insects and arachnids on my own time. I hope one day I can become an entomologist, I’m specifically studying bees and arachnids. Anyways yeah, thanks for feeding my brain bug knowledge stay hydrated, byyee

The educational style of this video is amazing. I think it should win some sort of educational award.
I'm (personally) uncomfortable with the inclusion of a pay-for-use mental health counseling service, but that segue is also masterful.
Excluding the advertising part, the educational message is powerful (a) be curious about the world around you (b) be curious even about details that seem like common knowledge (c) look stuff up to find answers (in books and reputable web sites).
It would be more realistic to google the questions but then there would have to be a long process of confirming, comparing, and validating conflicting sources - maybe a topic for another video.
Unfortunately we lived in a monetized world. People have food to put on the table so they have to monetize their work. Suicide hotline is always free and available tho.
I don't know if you are in America, but unfortunately all therapy is pay-for-use here :'(
Guys gotta make money somehow.
❤😂🎉😢😮😅😮😊😊
I'm more uncomfortable with the fact that betterhelp is known to sell client data to Facebook, has basically zero screening process for its therapists to weed out the ones with little to no empathy or who are prejudiced against certain minorities, and doesn't allow you to request a refund for any of what you pay, even if the therapist they match you with basically encourages self-destructive acts. I can personally vouch that the latter two issues are true, and they literally admitted to selling your data, so I automatically dislike any video that supports them. He should be far more discerning with his sponsors.
Anyone else enjoys the piano tunes?
Is he a musician? Because that music seems like it fits in the video very well. You would think he composed it.
@@thetoycollectorofseville6428 I did think he made those tunes
it’s kinda like a cartoon

*Bug gets legs sliced off*
I wonder if it's happy?
(Inside that leaf)
It did not cut its legs
@@im_not_a_bean 4:00 you can see damage to the legs, wing and abdomen.
My eyes might be damaged but I can still see it.
@@jademirrorI looked at it a bit more, it was probably just the legs of abdomen because it looks like a larva so it shouldn't have wings
Your content is so easy to understand. Im not a native english speaker and most educational content is very hard for me to understand and grasp the concept. Thank you :D♡
This channel is a masterpiece, you have done such a great job at making every video interesting
I always thought the growths on our oak leaves in California were some type of fungus but now I know they’re galls from little wasps. Thank u
You can’t get these videos out fast enough. I need an entire catalog of calm, educational, PBS style videos like this
I've been on nature-youtube forever and I've only just seen your channel for the first time. I've always found nature channels relaxing but it can be hard to find content that's educational, interesting, and not overdone extreme music focusing on hunting and violence.
I LOVE the little interesting things like the gall actually being part of the leaf itself, I had thought it was some kind of cocoon spun by an insect so that was cool to learn.
" Some times i also wonder if im happy "
No, thats hits me very hard
“Won’t you be my neighbor?”
I wish 😢
That's what I thought too as I hear the piano play through the video.
I really enjoy your videos, they make me very calm, and it's fun to learn with them, I always wait for them.
I love how you decided to template your videos! So relaxing and entertaining at the same time!
Thank you for educating us
Your editing has gotten so good! The shots in this video reminded me a lot of Wes Anderson, I wonder if that was intentional.
This won my subscription. Truly wholesome.
Dang that made me feel so calm and relaxed and educated thank you
I love how you talk slow like that. I have some auditory processing issues and I rely a lot on subtitles, but it's really easy to understand you! :)
That transition in to the sponsor is so good!!! ❤❤❤ also what ways would you recommend for kids to learn about zoology.
4:40 That was deep. And I absolutely appreciate that seamless transition into the sponsor
The way you telling this information reminds me of child- education videos from my childhood, this is very comforting. Also, English is my second language, so it's very easy to listen to your videos, I really enjoy it. Thank you very much for your work❤
I finally realized what your style of filming reminds me of, Wes Anderson! Those shots of you in the field were what set it in.
I would love it if you collaborated with Lindsay Nikole. I think your calm approach and her coolgirl attitude would be fun to watch.
This is like Mr Rogers and Blues Clues but for grownups who don't wanna be pandered to. My daughter and I love your channel. Thanks FB reels
Dude, your videos are literally a therapy. Keep it up!
I love the usage of liminal spaces in this video

I love how you put the eyes on the shell 😭✨
I love your editing style! It makes me feel connected, engaged, and relaxed… Keep up your good work.
I don't think the larva is happy. It is now homeless.
Your content is great by the way
My dumb ahh thought it was that trees fruit

I am in grade four and your videos give me a lot of education for NS
Please (if you have it) give us a video about pillbugs/isopods
Your voice is so calming, and I love your videos so much. You are one of my favorite UA-camrs ❤
The world needs more of this
The music brings to mind Mr Rogers and other 90s shows and tbh didn't know how much I missed it until now. So did that little bug give the leaf cancer in a way? And love the little eyes on the conch as well as the "could be a day in this man's life, could be a field trip" vibe to the outside segments.
“I think it’s a fish”
Im currently in 10th grade and whenever i feel tired from my studies your soothing voice and informative videos makes me calm and also a little bit curious that there are many informative things in this world that are new to me and I want to explore them more ❤❤❤❤❤❤.
This reminds me of the cozy pbs style science vids youd watch as a child
I didn’t expect this vid to make me tear up…
that big is really cute tho
You’ve formatted this video so well. Seamless ad placement.
6:03 that bug look so cute!
Amazing as always, Charlie. My kids love your videos also!
Is it just me or your videos give a cool awes Anderson type of vibe? Love em
Thank you! Beautiful work!!!

I love your videos!! I think your voice is soothing and relaxing..
I would love to see you do a video of "Everything You Didn't Know About Sharks". One day, I want to be a marine biologist, specifically studying sharks, and I'm also very curious to see what your biggest shark specimen is.
I never thought I’d find a channel whose chill vibes rival those of Simon Roper but those jazz chords give him a run for his money
I love nature and your videos. Im a bone collector and Nature Guide! Great info about our glorious nature friends! Tyty

Gives me "finding stuff out" shows vibe and i love it
I can’t choose any one compliment about your videos. There’s so much to say, but since you work so very hard you must surely know already.

He demolished that little guy's home
This video is so nice and soothing after a long day
Nah buddy... Solitude is amazing. Please do not be depressed when you are alone. Especially when you are in nature, hunting, fishing or just chilling, you are never really alone. It is a blessing
I’ve been watching this channel for a while now, and I just realized he is Charlie from “Weird but True.” This man was my childhood
i'm so glad i found this guy's channel
let’s go a new video!!
Yeah man the videos are so good slow paced to so you can absorb all the info with the piano music actually feel like I’m absorbingnir
Dang, I love the Mr.Roger esk piano in the background 🥰
Why is this giving me Mr Roger vibes?
This reminds me of Mr. Rodgers.
I really love how he engage us to watch the next video
You have a nice calm voice😌💜✨
Its so cool that some butterflies try to mimic monarchs to prevent being eaten
I love these videos!!
i love the idea of little sea snail just turning towards me and having a little chat

"I wonder if it's happy..." As he shows us how he chops that poor things legs off when he chopped it in half.
I get Steve from Blues Clues vibes and I love it.

Insect larva:
"Well I WAS pretty dammed happy. Now I'm cold and homeless. Thanks. Jerk!"
this is so amazing, this feels like something id watch on a kids education channel like ceebeebies
I love your content but please don't work with BetterHelp, they're real shady
That "this" with the beautiful music at the beginning of the video made me think he was gonna break out in song
I too have had a solid dose on etymology a the head etymologist for the county of FRESNO was a family friend growing up; and my father had a number of classes in etymology, not to mention knowing bugs when your surrounded by Agriculture is extremely important....
It was great to see this 😮

I've learned about birds flying around in thermal columns years ago when I was a kid reading Animorphs
I'm in love after watching this @OddAnimalSpecimens video! (With all due respect)
What kind of insect is the larvae inside the gall? Inquiring minds need to know!
