I suggest that these two artists are underrated and perhaps even ignored simply because of the style or genre of music they play. In fact the songs are beautifully crafted, wonderfully performed and sung. She is definitely underrated as a singer and maybe her acting detracts from that, his guitar playing and songwriting (the music) are sublime. The songs are beautifully in sync with the style they play. A good song is a good song regardless of style, genre or fashion.
I agree with your description, I discover this incredible duo in 2009, when an italian radio broadcast one song "Why do you let me stay here?". I think the main reason they are underrated is that the mainstream radio don't broadcast this style, they follow a commercial approach. Mainstream media kill the human stars.....
If the elites weren't in charge of everything you consume, this type of music would be on the radio 24/7. instead they force rap music and ghetto trash as a way of degrading culture and unity.
