That 38T looks fantastic. I really enjoyed watching this video, everything is well filmed and clearly explained giving the viewer much to think about learn from. Great work and presentation. 👍👍👍
Thank you so much Dean. I’m excited to see how the next part is received. It’s a deep dive into the weathering. Should be out next week. Thanks again 🙏
something less stressful than the super thin post shading mix is the ammo shaders, same effect and can be washed away with water. Both methods work great! also amazing looking model :)
Greetings Clayton, the Panzer 38 (t) has turned out perfectly so far, looking forward to the next installment, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia 👍👍👍👍
Great job. I built this kit when it first came out. I laughed because I also, on occasion, use a vinyl cutter to make my own markings. I am going to send you to a friend of mine. He lives in OZ and suggested that I do a UA-cam on my builds. It is not for me. He is not a builder yet. Now, I need to find your FB page, and I will follow you on that as well.
Thanks for joining me over on Facebook 😎 Re the videos…yeah, there’s a heck of a lot of time and effort goes into it. It’s a commitment that’s for sure
Very good video of how you do your painting and weathering. It's really interesting and I've learned some thigs from your instruction. Thanks for sharing.
Thats awesome. I’m so pleased people are getting some value from these videos. Next part will be a deep dive into the mud/dust weathering. Be sure to keep an eye out for it in a couple of weeks. Thanks again 🙏
Of you want. Tru mixing flesh as a light color. It adds a ton of depth . i handlebars more of the blue cool side. You did a great job on this just tossing out a mix that might surprise you.
Thanks Will. Love your suggestion. I often use deck tan or buff on other colours…never on the grey. 🤷🏻 I’m currently looking at the IBG Panzer II ausf b…so perhaps I’ll give it a try on that one. Really appreciate your comments. Thanks for watching 🙏
Thanks Adam. I did try scripting it and reading through it... but it just sounded unnatural. Thought just going for it and trying to explain what I was doing sounded more genuine. Glad that came through. Appreciate your comments
Hey Kane. That’s a really broad question. What I’ve done in this video I wouldn’t really call weathering. For me this is just the paint phase. The real weathering will be in the next episode. Was there a part of that video you were asking about specifically? More than happy to point you in the right direction 💪
@@workbenchhobbies4316 ive been on hobby shop web sites to buy paints and i find it daunting, ok the model instructions will say what colours to get, but when you get to weathering paint the list seems endless.
@@kanelambkin1545 - OK.. lets start with what paint you are painting the model with? What are you using for your base colours ? That will help to determine the most suitable weathering products to layer on top. Im thinking this could be a good video once we worth through this one!
He's wrong. It was dark when new but not after being in service for a while. Dirt, sun damage etc took their toll. You did a great job. Aloha from Hawaii.

Nice to see someone working with the paint lines I prefer. Found you while listening to On The Bench. Thank you for sharing your work.
Fantastic! Hope I sounded ok. It’s all a bit of a blur 😂 Welcome to the channel. So pleased to have you as part of the community

Thanks Les. The weathering episode should be up there now to watch. Finished that one a while ago now.

Great video this will help me a lot in my build and painting of my model.
Glad it helped
Great idea. I can now tell my wife I drink this much beer because I need the caps for modelling. Thanks man.
Thank me later 🍻

So many layers Clayton, love it!
Great video, easy to understand and follow...
Thanks mate. Next episode will be even more!
Awesome job!
Thank you. So pleased you liked it. I’ve literally just finished photographing the finished model. Can’t wait to share the next one with you all.
Fantastic paintwork. It's looking amazing.
Thanks so much. Hope you are enjoying the content.
I love your presentation style. Great work.

Awesome work and great tips were learned.
That’s great. Glad you found it useful. My videos have come a long way since this one. Thank you for joining in 🙏☝️
very nice camo
Thank you. I thought it was a really interesting scheme too. Glad you liked it.
Very nice indeed...
Thank you Gerard. So pleased this has gone down so well
Inkscape will do the same thing as Illustrator but is free and has add-ons that will interface directly to a vinyl cutter.
Great tip for the viewers. Thanks for sharing. I’m a little spoilt with access to all the gear at work. Hope you are enjoying the channel
Nice work. What are the must have weathering paints, that the beginner should purchase to start out.

Panzer grey is almost black, you missed the point...
I do tend to do that from time to time. Thanks for you comment. Glad you enjoyed it 😉

Not after being in service for a while. Look at photos. Maybe brand new but weathering is the whole point of modeling to make the afvs look real.
