Before I watched this channel, I did not even have Rebel Gen 5 as a case I wanted. After watching, I thought I’d give it a try. Now I daily drive the case and absolutely love it!
This year my favorites are Synthesis and Gen 5. One of the key reasons is the grippiness on the sides. It add so much to how these cases feel in the hand and make them much easier to pick up compared to, say, Sheath. Going forward, I will hardly be buying cases without side grip.
I got the Synthesis over the Sheath this year and I absolutely love it. Minimalistic perfection.

I’ve been using the gray caudabe sheath and it’s fantastic for me. Absolutely love the rough texture and grip on it. Also the gray is the perfect colour fit for black titanium 15 pro max

Great vid Tee. Again you’ve spent more of my money. Watched the whole thing all the way through and had to buy a Sheath. Have the Gen5, Andar, and PITAKA and thought I was done with the Gen5. I’ve not been a Sheath fan in the past but you done went and made me buy it again based on their improvements.
Is the shealth better than gen 5? How about the drop protection..which one’s great?
I love Mous cases but like you stated, the quality has been a bit variable recently and for my iPhone 15 Plus, I gave up due to the dodgy volume buttons on my example. And to be fair, the iPhone 15 Pro version also had an issue with the volume buttons - but they worked unlike the 15 Plus version. I think the mistake Mous make is using a single rocker type button with the little built up piece at each end. The built up piece was missing on the down volume side of the 15 Plus case meaning that it basically didn't work at all. And while I love (and own) the Caudate Sheath too, I just find it to slippery for my use case. dBrand on the other hand knocks it out of the park and is my default for all my devices wherever possible. He tried many cases over the years and the Caudabe Sheath has consistently been my go to. Still rocking it on my 14 pro max. It ticks all the boxes for me. Doesn’t show fingerprints, doesn’t show damage when dropped, slim, protective, strong magnets, easy to get off when I need to, easy to put on, grippy texture. It’s just a great all-rounder.

Have the Mous Limitless, benks armor pro, gen 5 frosted and the sheath. Did not think id be using the sheath so much but it’s currently my most used case. It’s an absolute winner. Would love to see floating buttons in the future tho. Banger vid, Tee!

I think I’m going to try out Caudabe this year. I’m stuck between the Synthesis and Sheath, but I will get one of the two with my natty 15 pro max. I am surprised that the Rhinoshield Solidsuit didn’t make this initial top 10 list
I bought almost 5 cases this year 😂😂 went crazy with cases shopping but sheath is my favorite and that grey looks amazing. I just keep going back to caudabe sheath it’s just perfect. The texture, design, feel in the hand have no match. Lot of cases have issues with plugging some usb c cables but didn’t have any issue with the sheath.
Yeah the Sheath just checks all the boxes and even with this new revised version, makes the buttons better and the MagSafe even stronger.
Caudabe Sheath has always been my go to. Not sure about others but mine seems to have a noticeable bump where the MagSafe ring is. You can kind of see it in the video here too at 25:14

Yoo Tee, I’ve been using the Ryan London new leather case with covered bottom, I gotta say, it beats Andar and Bullstrap and many other leather cases I’ve had so far! The leather quality is top notch! Specially after few days of using. Can’t wait to hear your take on it.

I have three smartish cases. I love them. One of them is a clear case. I also love the Mous case.
The biggest compliment I can give for my Caudabe Sheath is this; Had I bought, and handled, this before pre-ordering the Andar Aspen, then I wouldn't be expecting an an Andar delivery any day now.
For me, the Sheath perfect, as far as I am concerned. From the looks, the feel, fit and texture - it's everything I could want in a phone case. I'm sure I'll enjoy the Aspen when it arrives and I'm looking forward to breaking the leather in, but the next iPhone I buy will be protected by Caudabe and only Caudabe.

Bro I love you man, but still I cant decide what to buy. I think a nice idea would be to make top 5 cases for filmmaking like Moment, Polar Pro, and other. Theres just so much material there to cover like also filters cages, and now with the iP15 series it will be only getting bigger for the phone filmmaking segment

I've never like clear cases, BUT I gave the Torras Magnetic Clear in Natural Titanium a shot, and I'm not going back to leather anytime soon. Best $22 case hands down.
I like a lot of the choices in your top 10. Only one I dislike is Pitaka MagEZ Pro 4 considering the price you pay and not having super strong MagSafe Magnets. Probably the only one I wouldn’t purchase but I think all your other choices are very interesting cases. I’m thinking about getting the Dbrand Grip first and a few other items listed specially the Caudaube Sheath, Phone Rebel Gen 5, and Andar Aspen.

Completely agree! Sheath has slightly weaker magnets this year.. but doesn’t bother me at all with the other improvements and they’re still plenty strong enough. Love this case, as I do every year.. it’s the only one I ever buy and use now and never disappointed.
Hey there! Glad you like the Sheath so much. Just a quick clarification: Sheath’s magnet is measurably stronger than Apple’s own cases. We’re also constantly refining our products, and we made a few recent tweaks to our tooling that slightly enhance the magnetic strength on Sheath. It’s not a huge difference (since existing Sheaths already have magnets that are plenty strong), but there is a difference. Feel free to hit up our support team if you’d like more info!
@@getcaudabe 100%.. the magnet strength is still incredible vs most of the competition. Just slightly weaker than last years version. I would still recommend this case over every single other case out there on the market, as I’ve commented many times before. It’s my favourite by a huge distance, so much so that I’ve purchased one for every single member of my family, who are all completely in love too! 👍🏻

I believe you introduced me to Smartish and I’ve stuck with them ever since the 13. I’m using the Gripmunk for my 15 pro max. While I usually go with Spigen for the screen protector, this year they were garbage. Torras came to the rescue in the screen protector department.

Between Sheath and Synthesis, Sheath wins in looks but I like the texture on the sides of the Synthesis. Would really love to know if Synthesis offers more protection as advertised.
60 days later my gen 5 phone rebel is still killing it. Durable, no chips after drops, strong MagSafe and grippy. Changing buttons to titanium blue and silver gives it nice custom look too.

Thanks for the fun video, been waiting for this one! I pretty much agree with your list though I’d bump the Mous up to #2, drop the Sheath behind the Synthesis, and move the Phone Rebel to #1. My problem with the Sheath is that both copies I received had a MagSafe indentation on the back that continued to get worse over time. Hoping that’s something Caudabe corrects as I really like the case otherwise.

I agree that Gen 5 should go #1 and Synthesis be higher than Sheath. But Mous is rather slippery, ads some bulk and keeps generating structural and production defects year after year.
The shealth was updated if u got the early pre ordered batch’s the new magnet is stronger and buttons are more clicky… it is now pretty much perfect

I have the Enzo but I really don’t like the plastic sides and wish it was full leather.
